I’m looking at purchasing two U10’s for my son and I . I was torn between the unlimited and U10 , but your video really helped me tremendously . Thank you !
I’m glad I could help. Get both! One of each. But they are both great. Good luck on your adventures. If you are in SC I now sell Nucanoe myself. www.thereelkayakshop.com
Hey buddy how's you doing man ? This was a good video man . That's awesome how you like both of them & use the u10 for Throw and go . It a good kayak 🛶 for that. I got a co-worker that's looking for a kayak 🛶 & i show him your two sides by sides video & going to show him this one too & hopefully that he get one of them . Thanks you for sharing this video buddy & stay safe out there on the water buddy & have a good weekend buddy.
Good video! How do you think the U 10 would be with a large dog(lab) in front. I would be using to paddle with my dog and alittle fishing at times. Plenty of room? Thanks
Yes you will have room. If you end up buying a gear pod for the front dog could always sit on top of that it needed. Either way there is plenty of room up front. You will enjoy the U10. I am in the South Carolina area so if you are interested I am becoming a dealer for Nucanoe.
Any experience in light rapids on a river (CL1 or CL2?) I am on the verge of buying a U10 but a little uncomfortable because of how high the seat sits and I use the foot pedals for leverage in the white water and when I paddle.
I have ran it down the Flint River and also took my Unlimited down the Flint. It’s super stable and you get use to the higher seat height. If you are good at kayaking in my opinion I think you will be just fine. I don’t think you will regret it.
@@rjmfishtales Thanks for the quick reply. I am going to pick mine up this weekend and I was already looking for a hack to lower the seat. It will be strange to be up that high but even more so to have no foot stops for leverage. I guess it is all what you get used to.
You can mount directly to the support frame and not use the swivel piece. That will take out 1 1/2-2 inches right there and be more stable as fae as the seat. You will be ok. Wear a PFD and get wet baby! LOL
I’m 6’5 and currently have a Flint, which I’m loving it. I don’t feel like it’s too small for what I’m doing, I have plenty of leg room. I am looking to pair it with something with more stability that I can stand and fish with a xi3. I’d like to not get any longer than the flint and stay within a throw and go/ bed of a truck size. And I’ve been looking for a good on the water review comparing the unlimited and u10. If the flint has plenty of leg room for me do you think I would have any issues with the u10 running it with xi3?
You will be fine especially with the motor in the front. It will work great if you need to push the seat back a bit. It will be well balanced! You will love the U10 for sure. I know you will like better than the Flint, I think. A lot of awesome built in features. Would love to see someone else in the Unlimited family. Keep me posted.
What’s your opinion for 2 people on the U10? Around 300 lb total with the 2 of us on it. I want to take my girlfriend out occasionally just to cruise around. She doesn’t fish, so space for fishing and tackle isn’t an issue.
You will be just fine. The link below is a video with me and my son fishing off it. He is six and weighs 60 pounds. I am around 210. You will enjoy it for sure. th-cam.com/video/M6dnli1b8c0/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
I am not sure. It’s the same seat as the big brother. It all depends on the brand. You have a height of 8 inches so most likely not. You can fit one behind the backpack itself.

I totally agree with your comment about the track on the gunwale needing to come back further and be closer to the seat.
We can always add some from YakAttack too if needed! They have so much track now and different sizes offered from YakAttack not a big deal breaker.
A great job Ryan! Appreciate you sharing this buddy! Keep being awesome!
Thank you.
Good comparison video. I would take either 👍. Still on my list. Thanks for your time Ryan.
Can’t wait till you are in one! I appreciate you stopping by.

Great info brother
Thank you sir. Just out here catching dozens of trout. One baby red the size of my hand.
Nice where at bro
In the Charleston Harbor. I got the reds and the trout. Just trying for the fluke and I am done. It’s way too hot.

got a 40 pound Aussie I am hoping to take on some trips. With no gunnels it may be a chore to keep her in the boat.

is there room to put a 100 size lithium battery under the seat of the u10?

What size box is that for the u10?
I have the 16x16 black pack on the back.
@@rjmfishtales okay I’m gonna get one soon. Thank you!
