My dad is not one to wait in lines period. So he loves doing the VIP tours! Being able to knockout all 4 parks and ride all the rides you desire in one day is amazing. We literally rope dropped Hollywood Studios backstage behind tower of terror and got our rise boarding group and then jumped straight on rockin roller coaster and didn’t stop until we finished at Epcot when it closed! Plus our tour guide has been amazing, we’ve had the same lady twice and she was so knowledgeable and loved the kids!

This kind of stuff is really what you'll probably remember the most about your WDW trip, honestly.
When my wife and I went on our honeymoon we did a number of these things and more:
    -Got a spa package
-Did a half-day cabana rental at the Grand Floridian (you don't have to stay there in order to do it)
-Went to Fort Wilderness and rented a canoe and then got a carriage ride
-Did a fireworks viewing party on one of the ferry boats that they offered pre-COVID and hopefully will again
We talk more about this stuff than anything we did in the parks, honestly. It was especially cool for her because she grew up going to WDW with her family and having the same trip every year. Same hotel, same restaurants, same rides, etc.

I actually did Sangria University today, at the Coronado Springs resort.
First off, the resort is drop dead GORGEOUS! The views are ABSOLUTELY stunning!
The class under-promised, and over delivered, FOR SURE (like most everything Disney).
Each and every one of these experiences listed is worth every penny. There is nothing else on the planet, quite like Walt Disney World!

      @thelisarahman 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Idk if that’s it. But they sure as hell used the closure’s to kickstart these new and more difficult/stressful ways of operating. There was no reason to add LL and there’s no reason to keep park pass reservations. It’s not like they are trying to keep capacity down. We saw those crowds earlier this year. That was not at all low capacity. So why reserve a spot except to add more stress to the guests. Same with park hopping. Why open it at 2pm? The actual being in the parks thing is ridiculous at this point but I’m sure there’s an underlying reason that’s not Rona related and ties back to $$$. As for LL, they needed to just tack on an added fee and just let you by pass the line whenever like they do at Universal. This planning to check return times and all that goes into it is so stressful on the guests. It may be a money pit, but it’s also increasingly more stressful than it was in 2019 on the guests. Never mind people who are guests of CM’s or annual passholders. The days of freely going to the parks and being able to do a ride or two is long gone because everything has to be planned out a year in advanced practically 😂

Just so y’all know, even if you’re a legitimate combat veteran, you can’t request to be part of the flag retreat ceremony. A cast member has to “sElEcT” you, so if you’re a female, just forget about it because it’s not going to happen (which is complete bullcrap). You will not be selected because you won’t “look” like a veteran (white male, short crew cut, etc.). Basically, unless you plaster yourself with “LOOK AT ME I’M A VETERAN!!!!” t-shirts/hats, etc., they won’t pick you if you don’t “look” like a veteran.
Years ago, you used to be able to request to be a part of the ceremony as a veteran (or boy scout/girl scout for that matter), but they don’t do that anymore. I guess too many people were getting through that didn’t “look” like “real” veterans, so now they let cast members use their own inner bias of who “looks” like a veteran to pick who gets to take part. It’s disgusting.

My family's a big fan of swimming (having grown up in Florida and all) so we tend to take pool breaks during our trips and the pool parties are always a highlight, not only that, but we always try and stay at Carribean Beach (our personal favourite resort) and so we get to experience the parties at what, I believe, is one of the best pools in the park.

I just went there for my honeymoon! We wanted to get massages at grand Floridian but they still aren’t open. We ended up just getting a massage at a random place in Orlando which ended up being just fine (and WAY cheaper - it was like $180 for both of us) but if you’re set on getting one on the Disney property, the Swan and Dolphin hotel’s spa is open and you can get massages there! Just be sure to make a reservation to make sure you get a spot.

Definitely noted Jellyrolls because the dueling pianos sounds like fun, totally would request the Ducktales theme song, it's the only thing to drive Small World out of your head, I rode the Small World ride in Disneyland in December 2002 (never been to Disney World) & because it was Christmas time, it was in English the whole way through. How did I get that out of my head? Ducktales. How did I get the Ducktales theme out of my head? I never did, it's still stuck in there to this day but I love it so I don't care. On that note, would be the coolest thing to be woken up by Scrooge in the morning but I doubt they'd have a Scrooge McDuck option for that, I'll be 31 by my trip anyways if we can manage to go the time we're talking about so probably too old to have Scrooge McDuck wake me up in the morning.

I’ve done the Ratatouille ride in Disneyland Paris - it’s amazing but it makes you feel sick 😝

A lot of these things are more readily available on a Disney cruise. So check the ones that you want and rather than taking precious Disney world time, do some of these during DCL downtime if you plan on going on a Disney cruise

We went horseback riding when I was a kid and it was a lot of fun. Literally fool-proof since the horses know where to go on the trail. Just prepare for your legs to feel weird for a while after sitting on a horse if you've never done it before 😄

only been to WDW once, but did manage a few on the list:
    - participated in the flag retreat at MK
    - got a wake up call from Mickey
    - searched for (certainly did not find all) animals Tree of Life carvings
    - left WDW (for Kennedy Space Center, twice, including seeing Blue Angels)

The option that A.J. menitons about non-Disney things to do/places to go in Cenral Florida....PLEASE PLEASE don't go to Sea World!! For those of you who have seen the movie Blackfish, I'm sure you're with me on this. If you haven't seen it- you HAVE GOT TO! This movie has literally changed my life.

The real reason the flags are missing stars and stripes is because of the time period main street is set in. Midway to Mainstreet did a great video about this!

Not a criticism as such, but I feel like most of your videos in the last year have been all about hyping up things that are unavailable due to COVID (and no one knows when they’re coming back). Could you please start making videos about things that people *can* actually do at the moment?
