Hey Indi, just wanted to tell you that India is a beauty in its chaos. We are a country with longest history, beautiful nature, we have learnt the art of co-existence. Its just that in few hundred years people aim for India cause it is naturally rich in all aspects. They try to loot us, strip us of our culture and force their ideology upon us. But instead they learnt a a lot from here, after taking so much of wealth they understood that they cant rob us completely cause it will take generations and still we will be rich. India not only has monuments and temples and gardens and all stuff but india also has many other places to visit.
Indi, I live in Chandigarh/Panchkula, the city beautiful. Whenever you visit Chandigarh, lemme know, I'll pick you up from the airport, will show you all the beautiful places in Chandigarh (Rose Garden, Sukhna Lake, will take you to the the best restaurants and hotels known for their food(including Butter Chicken and kebabs) and the best Sweet Shops for your sweet tooth) and I've a spacious and a comfortable home. You can stay as long as you like, forever if you feel like it.
There is this beautiful Himalayan Expressway which will take you all the way to Shimla (90 km from my place) (beautiful hill city). And, within a few minutes drive, we can reach Morni Hills, very beautiful view of the foothills of the Himalayas.
And Panchkula has beautiful gardens (Yavanika Gardens), Bougainvillea Gardens in Chandigarh, it's very large and beautiful. Sukhna lake is very peaceful and tranquil, you'll love it during cooler months of Oct-Nov or Feb-Mar.
Golden Temple in Amritsar is 250km from here. I'll drive you there.
If you want something home cooked for your sweet tooth, I'll prepare kheer(rice pudding) with saffron and cardamom.
