If I didn't have my commercial Honda this may be on my list of consideration. The SCAG obviously took some cues from Honda when I look at the machine, just a more powerful engine. The one thing SCAG doesn't have that I noticed that the Honda has is the twin-blade mulching system. As well as some minor conveniences like a shaft driven hydrostatic trans axle and the original blade brake clutch Roto-Stop, not to mention a superior ergonomic handle bar.

I had a 30” Scag same thing to heavy I sold it after two weeks of having it.
Very nice job! The deck on that Scag looks ideal for bagging. Does the Scag have a high lift blade on it?
