I love the detailed build videos. Some people are very "hush hush" about engine building which I find strange. Engine builds are like art. I can give you a guitar or some paint and every person is going to make it a little different depending on personality and knowledge.. This is the difference between a master and an apprentice. An apprentice may build you "good" motor while a master will get every ounce of hp and value from the parts provided. Love your videos man keep them coming.
David, i was visiting San pedro from Alabama for 2 weeks in June 16th, i came to the Irwindale Raceway, i wanted to meet u , your friend Donnie said u had blew your engine. Maybe next time I'm in CA. The Real Street Guys are flying, i really enjoyed it.
That motor sounds great. Silky smooth. I sure miss my squareback. Probably sell my mercedes turbo diesel and buy another one to restore. I have owned 9 or 10 vws in my life and Probably painted well over 150. Fun cars and cheap to restore compared to other cars.
Part of the issue with that exhaust is that it dumps out under the car, thus amplifying the sound. Extending it behind the apron would help for those inside.
These engines are old fashioned but still many ppl are interesting in refurbishing theses cars? Is it for the historical vaue or why? Thanks for the video!

What's with the mismatched tail lights? I love both types, but not mixed, ha ha. If I got a notch it'd be pre70. My squareback is 70, and I love it, but early front and rear suit the notch best.
@@volkstroke Thanks for the fast reply. Are the rules for the real street current? Do you have to use CB Heads for the engine. Thanks again. I love your vids.
Sweet build make me miss my old notches😢..
These videos are great. Glad your starting to make more "how to" videos. Keep them coming.
More coming
Every build will try to come with a video
