Both of these books look quite interesting. I know nothing about the Ogham meanings, but I do know a bit about the Elder Futhark, so it piqued my interest to see them connected like that. A sizable chunk of my ancestors were Celtic, so it will probably be worth me doing some research and reading up on them. Thank you for such a succinct and useful review and comparison.
I've had these two books for about almost a year ago, and love it! Am planning on re reading it again, either in the next couple of weeks from now or shortly after New Years and starting on some of the exercises. I tend to read the books, sit on it and then reread them before I start on the exercise. I also have The Magical Year by Danu Forest, which was a very GREAT READ, LOVE IT!! Stay safe to you as well and Autumn Blessings!
hi jess. thank you for another great review. i am intrigued by both of those books. for some reason the healing power of trees draws me a little more. big hugs and love to YOU
Great review! I have Tree Magic but had no idea so much was in it! I look forward to getting around to reading it in earnest. Thanks! I will say that the representation of any sound short of the International Phonetic Alphabet is misleading and often creates more confusion and mispronunciation. I find omitting those actually more respectful of the target language. English has countless dialects and there’s no predicting how any one reader will interpret the transliteration.
Thanks for the review! Very interesting and helpful!

Just received the healing power of trees 2 days ago. It's definitely next in line to read. Perfect timing with video. ✌️
I hesitated between the two, and now I know I'm gonna add the last on my wish list. Thanks a lot!
This is one of the most unique books I've ever read. I love that its full of tree mythology and exercises.
