Are you struggling with exam prep? Your current study habits may be limiting you from reaching your full potential. As a doctor, I needed to learn massive amounts of information throughout medical school and residency. How did I do it? In this video series, I show you HOW TO STUDY. These are PROVEN STUDY SKILLS that are guaranteed to boost your knowledge retention and improve exam performance. They definitely worked for me! This is part 4 of a 4 part series. Part 1 discusses how to get your body, environment and mind prepared to STUDY. In Part 2, I discuss the ACTIVE RECALL Method and how to apply it to your study routine. In Part 3, I discuss the Principle of Spaced Repetition and how to combine it with Active Recall. In Part 4, I discuss Mnemonics as an aid to memorizing.

Hi I graduated as a doctor in the year 2005 and my primary medical degree and education qualifications are recognised in Canada.
Thereafter I have practiced in anaesthesia and ICU for 11 years ( 5 years in Sri Lanka & 6 years in Singapore). However I haven’t completed any exams in anaesthesia. In next four years including the current date, I have been practicing Aesthetic Medicine in the private sector in Singapore.
If I’m trying to enter the Canadian Medical system with the wish of obtaining the full practicing license in Canada, which specialty would be viable ( Anaesthesia or aesthetic) to proceed forward, considering my experience.(not looking for residency program)

      Hi Samantha.
      Apologies for the late reply.
Unfortunately if you don't have formal speciality qualifications in Anaesthesia, you will not be able to practice in Canada. Canada has a very strict licensing system and it is very difficult to come from another country with just "experience" and get recognized here.
