. I rarely add it to tea anymore but when I do it is only a smidge. I don’t use artificial sugar . Great views of everything . Thank you for sharing this great video .
Hi Michael, stevia is made from a plant and doesn’t impact insulin. It is a good choice if you need a little sweetener. While honey has some health benefits it isn’t great when trying to cut sugar or calories!
MaryJo Kajfasz I agree. You added about 170 extra calories and 50 grams of carbs between the honey and sugar in the raw, which is not a sugar substitute. You may as well have ordered a soda.
Between all the different sugars, I say pick Stevia. Teas are quite easy to drink without sugar, probably the best way to start decreasing sugar intake.
Rope Drop ! Thats the best to do Flight of Passage without doubt. Now, the others are all great at park close... and that works perfect with working schedules now with earlier park closing times. :) I'm glad you made it to Kilimanjaro... 24 seconds, that was close.
I know you’re on the cruise, but “sugar in the raw” is just sugar. Stevia is made from plants as well...it’s not artificial sweetener. Stevia is always better for you than sugar. And I’ve been sugar free for almost a year!
We actually really like Rainforest Cafe. If you are counting a few calories, we get their salads there, cobb salad, the T-Rex has a kale salad you can get with chicken. They fill up the whole plate and will fill you up.
For teas I don’t add sugar. It’s the easiest switch to make- change your drinks! But I’m doing the keto diet (because my blood sugar is high, but no diabetic yet and I’m a professional baker) and I’ve been studying up a bit on sugar alternatives. Stevia is not an artificial sweetener, it comes from a plant like cane sugar. But my favorite alternative so far is monk fruit, also not artificial and I’ve been seeing them lately at Starbucks. Sometimes it’s mixed with Erythritol and that’s a sugar alcohol which I classify as artificial...but it doesn’t cause GI issues and it’s low on the Glycemic index. Happy weight loss!!!
You'd fit right in here in Utah. During the winter people keep their shorts and just swap out their flip flops for shoes and long socks and call it good. Lol.
Just an f.y.i., Stevia is made with a plant. It's a really good substitute for sugar for those of us with diabetes. There are no calories in it and is good for weight loss. Thanks for the shout out!
When I went to Disney Feb 2010 it was in the 30’s we came from Jersey from a big snow storm so we had our winter coats. Everyone keep asking we’re we got our coats lol
I have been to both Rain Forest Cafes, Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney (sorry, Disney Springs). They are the same. Once you go in the door you can hardly tell which one you're in. Oh ... and they're both excellent experiences as well.
Interesting that the Starbucks? at Animal Kingdom doesn't carry the Whole Earth (darker green) sweetener packets with the combination of stevia and monkfruit natural sweeteners. The "in the raw" products are natural, though turbinado sugar is like a brown sugar. A friend bought monkfruit sweetener online and says it bakes well and tastes exactly like sugar. Truvia is good but the Coca Cola company's isolation of the sweetener found in stevia.
Yes have been told there it's the coldest there at AK! Lol lol your funny! U should be use to cold weather Michael for sure. Yes who wants to go see animals at nite? Lol not me.
I just moved to Florida to work for Disney and vlog from a cast member perspective. I loved following your move as I prepared for mine. Hope to meet you in the parks soon!
Good to know, we almost planned a trip for this weekend, but decided to postpone it. We want it WARM in Florida when we go. I'm sure you still had fun :) Still can't wait for the Star Wars cruise.
Looked like a fun time, even though it was cold out. I was at WDW one year (December, 2006...I think that was the year) and it was in the 30s and 40s the whole time! I had to buy sweat pants (to wear over my jeans), a hat and gloves.
I grew up in the Midwest, Michael and in the early spring I would see grown men running down the street in shorts; so you're not the only one who has "Missed the Memo".
Tough to be a Bug is a show we never miss!

David is a man of few words, but all those faces that he makes says everything, hehehehe

And I’ve been sugar free for almost a year!
I use stevia every day! It takes a little bit to get used to it, but once you do, you can't go back!
David's face when you are talking sugar is great.
We actually really like Rainforest Cafe. If you are counting a few calories, we get their salads there, cobb salad, the T-Rex has a kale salad you can get with chicken. They fill up the whole plate and will fill you up.
Lol as someone who worked for Disney this is entertaining to watch.

My, dare I say it, FAVORITE park! At night it's absolutely beautiful. I think everyone should experience it that way at least once.
You'd fit right in here in Utah. During the winter people keep their shorts and just swap out their flip flops for shoes and long socks and call it good. Lol.
when you get tea at Starbucks they put the honey in first so you have to stir it so the honey gets mixed in

I think you’ve committed what’s called a “fashion faux pas” 😂😂
Tree of Life projections are so cool. Love that artwork on the wall
I am 99% sure that my daughter was your safari guide in this video. Thanks for sharing!
I completely agree that they need to keep doing these decorations at Animal Kingdom! They’re too amazing!
I love David's expressions. It reminds me of what I would do. :)
I never knew the safari went out in the dark
It’s tough to be a bug was/still is one of my families favorite and nostalgic experiences at Animal Kingdom!
I can’t believe I just watched a guy discover a phone. :)
God I’m getting old.

You just need to stick it out , and don’t add the sugar, you’ll get used to it x
I went to rainforest cafe a few times and I like it especially the experience
Honey and sugar.....am I watching Elf?
GBOGEY 🤣😂🤣😃🤣 Candy, candy corn, candy canes, syrup.

“This is Michael being smart about Disney calories”...as he adds pure sugar to his tea rather than the no calorie option...
Be nice. He obviously didn't know the difference...
Paulette B no harm intended! He’s trying and that’s what matters!
Stevia is a plant leaf and should not affect your sugar levels in the way as other sweetners
Sugar in raw better artificial sweeteners are bad your right
Are you going to be posting about your cruise
I sweeten my tea with 100% real maple syrup. It’s not weird at all and is healthy!
Take it from a diabetic, syrup is NOT healthy!
Yes have been told there it's the coldest there at AK! Lol lol your funny! U should be use to cold weather Michael for sure. Yes who wants to go see animals at nite? Lol not me.
Keep warm brothers

I have been to the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom. It’s good
That is the Florida look in the winter. Shorts but a “ohh I forgot it is cold” coat.
The one at the Springs might be better for the atmosphere, but don't bother with Rainforest Cafe at AK. Way overpriced and the food is just meh.
You can also order your hot chocolate half sweet vs skinny so that you don’t have artificial sweetener but still cut down on the calories. 😄
Love the video and how they feel the cold, over the pond in the UK 30s and 40s degree C is like our hot summers lol perfect for us.
Pretty sure he was referencing Fahrenheit. 32 Fahrenheit is freezing.
@@rainbowdisneyfan775 that's a big difference then.
Warren Jones 😊

When the weather is hot, AK is hotter than the other parks and when the weather is cold or cool in Florida, AK is colder than the other parks.
I understand the hotter part, but why is AK colder?

Stevia is much better choice, however no sugar is still best. I really love watching Vlogs with you and Dave having fun together.
Yeah but the sugar is full of calories even if it's natural lol
We didn’t get a chance to make it to Animal Kingdom this year, but hopefully in the future!
Hope you’re having a great cruise!
Where are you originally from?
I like Truvia, though not a true natural sweetener, it is very close and taste good without all the calories of natural sugar.
I grew up in the Midwest, Michael and in the early spring I would see grown men running down the street in shorts; so you're not the only one who has "Missed the Memo".
I luv nave river journey💕💕💕💕❤️❤️❤️
👍🏻
Try the medicine ball at Starbucks it’s delicious!
best thing when youre feeling icky!
Who is older David or Michael? How many years apart, are you two?
Lynda Compass Michael is older than David and Michelle. I think about two or three years older than Michael.
Haven’t watched the video yet but love the thumbnail!
Bet it's not cold on your cruise right now 💖
Could be scary
