I'll never understand why so many people dislike "Dance Into the Light". I listented the album some days ago, after many years , and I still think that it's one of the best albums by PC
I think it's a little bit weak (despite having GREAT songs, like this one. Even I knew Mr. Collins thanks "Just Another Story") but have another ones, let's call "boring and uninspired).

@@izg93027 My three favorite songs on the album are this one, Just Another Story and Oughta Know By Now. My favorite Phil Collins solo album is Both Sides as well, followed by Hello, I Must Be Going.
I love this album
I think it's just Eurocentrism on the part of a lot of people. This is his most non-European album.
How did I not ever know about this beautiful tribute to Lorenzo Odone before now? I was diagnosed with MS in 1992, and then I saw the movie Lorenzo's Oil and it changed everything! I am one of the fortunate ones, benign. Now the Odones have all crossed over, but their fighting spirit lives on in patient advocacy! What beautiful music you created for a special boy, Mr. Collins.

What I can say? Phil was the greatest Musican and Drummer in Universe!!! Never come back the same.

Just think...Phil was the 2nd drummer of an Art Rock band called Genesis. He had only sang backup before Peter Gabriel left the band. Phil stepped up and took the band took them to new heights..

Near the end he's singing some of the lines from Going Back from the album Going Back. First time I noticed and recognized. Wonderful song, Lorenzo.

My first mixtape when I was just 8, my inspiration as a drummer (and Ricky Lawson deserves credit too - so much talent on one stage - Luis Conte, Nathan East!), above all, one of my heroes in music. This song is one of my favourites of all time.
Anyone else notice at 2:51 there’s a shot of Luis Conte with Phil’s toms on the right, only Phil’s not playing them. Just a funny observation 😁👍🏻 #editing
It took me some time to figure it out haha, but there are actually two concert tom sets which Phil plays. Phil and Luis are on opposite sides of the stage during the first concert tom part, and next to eachother during the second one. So the set which is visible at 2:51 is not played by Phil at that time.

Wow the song itself is definitely not one of my favorite Phil Collins songs but I was absolutely Blown Away when I saw how he ripped into that drum solo I mean it's just absolutely brilliant his timing and his lightning speed I mean it was like somebody was running a buzz saw if you looked close the way he was ripping them drums the pill college name deserves to be with the top drummers in the world I don't care what anyone says what a brilliant drummer
