Nappa is a mentor, black isn't. Also Nappa is a re-texture, while Black has different hair than Goku while SSJ.

A "Full Power x10 Kamehameha" would be nice to have. Give it the same animation as what he did when he tried to stop Great Ape Baby where he charged ki in one hand then the other and put it together and you got a sick looking skill.
Also add Meteor Combination as a new strike ult while at it.

Being able to equip speed type on a goku moveset makes your neutral feel soooo good. Tech type + Rose soul go nutty as well.

But ye, custom GB has grown on me. Wasn't thrilled to see him when they revealed him, but he at least brings something new to the base Goku combo style. Can't say the same for Godku tho since he just plays like a better but more boring version of the Base Goku custom.
The only "better" thing god has over the others is ki blast cannon & rebellion spear. Quotations cause ki blast cannon being blockable now is a negative for me. Gt goku is a speed demon tho

As for the reason why I say Godku's better, have you seen the stat choices he and custom baseku have to pick from? Custom baseku has to choose between damage or durability meanwhile Godku gets the best of both worlds (just less extreme) but he also gets the wonderful privilege of Tech B as well, AND since he's not a transforming character his stats are all higher without having to give up ki/stam recovery like custom baseku does. The only real loss Godku suffers from over baseku is not getting x10 or backflip (I think), but other than that he can play almost the same game as custom Baseku but with just better overall stats.
Also, I don't see why you're considering rebellion spear a positive feature. I get WHY one might like it, but I also get that the move has some wonky af hit detection and that you can just burst dash to break their guard🤷♂️
@@JahovasFitness block spam, that's why the nerf to it being blockable ruined it for me. A reliable combo extender that doubles as a counter to one of the game's worst balance problems? I didnt think i'd needa explain that lol. Goku's 3hp bar preset hits like a truck tho, if anything it's the 2nd/3rd best stat set for cast characters period. Only being beaten out by the 3+hp bar ones omega, broly & others have. Base goku's also got good evasive supers, making the hp stats' low stam no worry. You already brought up backflip, he's got super afterimage too. God goku's only got instant transmission & solar flare, better than all the newer custom cast but none the originals at all. Oh & rebellion spear is just an overlooked move. Use it to "counter" z vanishing or just to avoid the odd hail mary-ed ultimate, that's what it's best for. If you try & end a combo with it or just randomly use it outside one, ya, youre asking to get guard broken. Only thing i like about god goku is i wont have to change base goku's moves for pve anymore 🤣 just an extra preset
@@mfspectacular 1) For ki cannon, I know why people would've liked it that way, but I also personally just find that making it randomly throwing it out is just as good as it's intended purpose of a combo extender is a bit silly. Yes, block mashing gives people soul cancer, but one of the best moves already shouldn't have the utility of also being a "fuq it" move you can just throw out.
2) The health stat is an ok PvE setup but a build focused on high super damage paired with only an average amount of ki but low basic and stamina seems like a bad idea for PvP. If he had endurance B like 4ku instead it'd be alright, but it just seems too unreliable for PvP (unless you use thanks dragon balls but that's another can of worms). Other than Health B tho he's stuck with Combo B (too much health loss for not enough attack increase imo), Tech B (admittedly a god tier PvP stat), and Strike B (not "bad" but also feels outclassed by other stat choices). Compare that to Godku's Blast A (plenty of blast super damage with good enough stam and basic), Strike A (similar to blast A but with more basic and stam), Combo A (probably the weakest option since he has Tech B but it gives more damage than that one at least), and of course Tech B (no intro needed).
3) I don't see your point with evasives. Pretty much everyone can use instant rise, that doesn't make only have 5.5 stam bars any easier.
4) I guess you could use rebellion spear like that, but it's not like it's hard to dodge stray ults unless you're talking about moves like brave heat/burning strike with their utterly satanic tracking in lag. Otherwise you could just burst dash and break someone for a stray ult or just step vanish behind them.
@@JahovasFitness throwing out ki blast cannon on its' own wasnt ever as good as during a combo, if the servers bs kicked in or a lagswitch, you'd be a sitting duck. It *was* just the most reliable super to deal with that cancer, shockwave still dont cut it, least for me. Besides that, the whole mindset in block spam is unironically a "fuq it" one in itself, just add in "im not gonna actually bait your stam bar" to the end of it
Btw, i said evasive *supers.* Super afterimage & backflip arent literally evasives, & god goku has neither. None of the new custom cast have them for some reason, even going back to the first 10. Those 2 moves are the reason i said his hp stats are the best for him. Use either or both & stamina's never a worry, no need for tht problem of a z soul. & all else i'll say on rebellion spear is to just try it out for awhile. It's niche but that niche is even better than before, what with backhits not being as good

They need to give the moves they gave goku black on Rosé now. Rosé literally has almost none of zamasu’s moves.
seeing goku black makes me ask, how did he even go rose (aka super saiyan) cuz vegeta took a long damn time to get it even tho he already knew what it looks like. The whole body change thing between zamasu and goku should’ve worked the same way it did for captain ginyu.. unless they wanna show us kaioken ginyu in hell
Well maybe because zamasu used the dragon balls to switch instead of a technique. That’s about the only thing that could be a possibility
the wish clearly didn’t give black goku’s knowledge too otherwise he would’ve known where trunks/balma was hiding and destroyed balma’s lab a lot sooner. So boom the arc is over

Stamina recovery stats plus stamina recovery super soul. You get stamina back immediately, but you do take a lot of damage.

Honestly, if Napa has super saiyan idk why they didn’t give it to custom turles, raditz, pan, and kid gohan. They even gave bardock super saiyan 2 and 3
@@kazethegoat8247 Being as bluntly realistic as I can physically be on this, Nappa probably only got Super Saiyan because they didn't actually have to do anything other than recolor the mustache. I think when a character goes Super Saiyan they have to switch to an entirely different model rather than just switching hair models, they would have had to make a "new" model from scratch because Black has an ever so slightly different face from Goku, this exact reason of a slightly different face is probably also why Custom Jiren doesn't get Impact Flare, and with Dimps being notoriously lazy and stupid, I was disappointed, but absolutely not surprised when they didn't give him Super Saiyan.

I think ssg goku is actually the best goku but imo goku black is the 2nd best new custom out of the new 5 (ssj4 gogeta is 1st) all of goku black stats are all really good technical type is obviously really strong especially with the ss that gives him faster recovery....but his other preset that makes him zoomy fast is the second best people don't understand how scary a very fast goku is

@@theninja2k14 he might be the worst 1 but that doesn't necessarily mean he is bad, he'd still be good even if he didn't have the key customization now the only stat preset i saw that i would rock with was Strike Type A but im fine with that since ill be using Final Blow on him anyways which does mad damage and will equip his "warmed up now" super soul to give him damage boost ki regen and speed to make up for his lack of reach and he has everything else i would want on his custom so im happy all i need is his Key
