Thanks Markus, it was originally a American Standard, I first replaced the pickups with a Kinman K7 Hank Marvin Pups and electronics, later I had it refinished in Fiest Red, then also upgraded all the hardware to gold Cheers Ric
Thanks for watching Peter so pleased you liked it, my strat was originally a American Standard and the colour was iridescent aqua blue 15 years ago, it has a lot of upgrades, I installed a Kinman K7 pickups & electronics sytem, the Pups are Kinman Hank Marvin HMV, later I had it professionally repainted to Fiesta Red, then later I replaced all the hardware to gold, all geniune Fender except the floating bridge but still wasn't cheap all the best Ric
@@richoffmann Well you have a beautiful guitar there for sure. I have 5 strats (to many :) I am familiar with the Kinman range of pickups, made here in Australia, I believe.I had considered trying a set but the prices were a bit much for me. My new favorite Strat arrived the day before yesterday, It is a Fender American Vintage II '61 Stratocaster and very quickly becoming my favorite Strat, Pups are fantastic sounding with a very usable bridge pickup thats bright but not harsh :) My first Strat in Fiesta Red, and with a Rosewood slab fingeboard. Anyway, very nice to meet you Ric, I will drop in and check your channel now and then :) Take care, Pete :)
