Hello. In additional to other required journal information, most states with permanent RON laws also require Notaries to create and store an audiovisual recording of each remote online notarization. These audiovisual recordings provide additional evidence that a RON was lawfully performed and must also be securely stored electronically.

So do people call into some phone number, and you answer and then you conduct the business. 1. Are you contracted by a company to answer their incoming calls or do you just work for yourself? Meaning does a % of your pay go to a company. 2. Are you paid by the number of calls you take? 3. Do you work another job or do you just work as a notary signing agent? 4. How much do you make doing that type of work at those late night/early morning hours?

But DocVerify, Notarize, NotaryCam, Pavaso, Safedocs and SIGNiX all meet state requirements for virtual notarization technology. Whatever platform you choose should provide identity proofing, credential analysis and storage for your video recordings of notarial acts. It should also be capable of attaching your electronic seal, signature and certificate to an electronic document.
