I’ve watched so many TH-cam channels over the course of my lifetime and this is the only one that’s consistently funny every time I click on a video.

The photographer confusion over walking and vlogging at the same time is related to microscopic brain-power. Like the famous statement, "He can't even walk and chew gum at the same time." which describes an awful inability to multitask due to severe lack of computatipnal power. I know these things because {hangs his head in drooling shame} I am a photographer. I was once able to whistle while I tied my shoe, but I have never been able to repeat that.

I used to watch your channel coz it was funny; but now I watch it as a reality check when I think I need a piece of gear. Recently did 2 - 4/5 leg/multi city trips which I vlogged -- already owned an a7iii, and went extra and bought a go pro, mounts, and also got lenses for the a7iii/nd filters etc -- the whole 9 yards. Ended up vlogging most of the trip on the iPhone 11, just because of the convenience with occasional captures on the a7iii. Needless to say I returned everything I didn't use; and now even considering getting rid of the camera to upgrade to an iPhone 14 and and be done with everything else. One item- one charger --no more extra batteries/sd cards/chargers/cables/lenses etc.
5:15 Choosing a camera is mostly about what you are prioritizing for your work. Both S5 and R8 have good recording modes but the S5 has IBIS which is very critical feature to some. While the R8 has probably better rolling shutter performance especially for video.
You also have to think about the future. What lens system you want to use for long term, I think the L system is much better than the canon considering you can easily use great thrid party lenses like tamron and sigma.

I’ve got a Z9, a 300mm f/2.8, and a 500mm f/4. You may already see the problem; I can’t decide which of the 400mm lenses I should get, any suggestions?
Also I wanted to note, I’ve used a 14mm f/2.8 with ibis on and I didn’t notice any jello edges though I’m not sure if I wasn’t looking close enough; something you might want to check out when you get your hands on a Z9/8.

hey ! I currently own a a7iii 55mm and 24-105 f4.. originally bought it for photography but now im interested in video and looking for recommendations as I want to sell them .. my area of interest is travel food and documentary ..do you have some recommendations for me ?
The 24-105 f4 is an excellent video lens. Very nice optics, excellent AF, not too big and heavy.
For stills and timelaps it stil very good if not best, but not good for video (slow sensor readout speed -> rolling shutter, not best IBIS for video, 8 bit, no 60fps, only and 30 min limit will be a big problem when you start to get better pro-like footage, I suggest swap it asap to a7s3 or maybe that new zv-e1.
