Another cool tip, Say you're playing a game and you press the ps button to go to the home screen then you go neck deep in the settings menu or in your profile or messages or whatever else, instead of pressing back a million times to get back to your game/app just double tap the ps button to get back to your game/app you can then double tap it again to back to where ever you were previously.

The PS4 does not support local storage of movies and music. Sony said they will be patching music functionality, but no clue when, and no word on video.
this is kind of a awesome ps4 tip, i have surround system speaker set but they're not wireless, i connected it to my dualshock 4 controller and then hold the PS button and went to output to headphones and i changed it to all audio. Have fun with you're ps4 sound all around the house! :)
the only thing that pissed me off about the ps4 was that you cant plug a usb in and watch a movie... if the ps3 could then i should think the ps4 can also...its supposed to be everything the ps3 is and more
The original PS3 was backwards compatible but the new one isn't, that's kind of what you're saying with the USB. They can't fit everything the PS3 had in the PS4, they have new features to put that people want more.
also the ps4 doesnt have flash thingy to actually play videos itself. Go ahead and try to watch a video in the browser, wont woork. The company (adobe?) does no longer provide flash player for consoles.
If you don't want to make noise just plug some headphones in and go to setting make all audio coming out of the controller .. including tv and chat so nice..

Man, seeing this, I wish they kept this UI design for the PlayStation 4. I got my PlayStation 4 in 2018, and it obviously has the newer UI, which honestly looks too flat for my liking, this original UI had more detail, both in the default background, and the blue glow when highlighting options.
Works flawlessly only if you use your PS4 to view the video, and your laptop to search and control everything else on YT. You can achieve this by pairing. Once you use your PS4 to search YT you start to run into some problems.
