Can my Classic Mini Cooper Ragtop handle going up Genting Highlands? | VLOG#24 | EvoMalaysia.com

Hey it's another Weekend Drive VLOG and this time I'm bringing my Classic Mini Cooper Ragtop for a spin. This is a very steep uphill climb for the Mini and I'm doing this for the first time. Let's see if she makes it to the top!

Thomas's Mini is such a gem and it reached the top in style! 😎 I still remember my first trip to Genting Highlands in the 70s...my father had to borrow my uncle's Mazda 808 because his Riley Kestrel (BMC) did not have enough power! 🤣🤣🤣

Thanks! I'm really lucky to be able to own this Mini. :) And yes, my dad told me that our generation Is point for power... Multi-Point Injection, Turbo Chargers, Fast shifting Gearboxes like Dual Clutch. Even a common man's car like a Myvi can cruise up to Genting where my grandparents who had a fiat will overheat on it's way up. 🤣

my 76 mini goes up Genting easily. its really fun to drive up, eve if not as fast as newer sports cars. Its the journey down thats hard on the foot because of the huge humps every 10 meters.
