Shibamata Taishakuten. Is located in Tokyo’s northeast. Offering an entirely old and different Atmosphere from Tokyo old days.Delightful nostalgia- retro neighborhood,brimming wit charm. Just a few stops from Ueno in Tokyo’s Northeast,
Visiting the Temple.. is like stepping back in time,🌟🤩
It’s a true hidden gem, nested in Katsushika Ward,Tokyo. A 30 minutes train ride from Ueno.
It’s also known as “ the carving temple’ because of its outer walls are covered in gorgeous wooden carvings.though it my look rustic.
They depict a lot of number of Buddhist tales and history with impressive detail “ three-dimentionality images.
Most of the buildings were built post- Meiji period (1868-1912).
