To start your bike, your choke should be all the way up which means full choke(no air coming in). After it starts pull it down which means no choke, the air is coming in to keep the engine from overheating and flooding in gas.
I have the exact same pocket bike. It does that because you probably didnt break the motor in properly. Once you get the bike turn it on and let it run for about a 1min or 2 and then ride it on half throttle. Keep doing that untill you have wasted 5 full tanks of gas. Only after that you can rip it down the street on top speed.
Hi man just a quick tip for the choke, when the bike is ice cold put your choke on full then start the bike when the bike has run for about 20 seconds flick the choke on half and let the bike warm up to optimum temperature once the bike has warmed up turn off the choke and happy riding :) thats how you work the choke on these low tune 2 strokes, on my RM 250 (high state of tune 2 stroke) the choke is just on or off so i run it for about 10 seconds when cold on the choke and then flick it off

U have to pull the cord 1 time very slow while that carb Flow things is up then do the flow down so the gas flows. Not the white one but the metal up and down thing. Then pull slow 1 more time and then u give an soft pull. It starts in one pull everytime u do this

all bikes are different. you can go down a dealership lot and i'd bet money every one starts differently.they all have a mind of their own. i don't do what people say,i just do little variations of choke,throttle and fuel/air mixture. when you find the settings that starts fastest, chances are weather conditions make you change them up a little bit(more/less choke,etc.). i have a small atv and it started 2 pulls after sitting for 5 months because i know what settings it likes.
when you turned the gas on you put it on reserve, if you give it a little gas it will start easier, lastly-your not supposed to put the choke half way. only on or off

dude you need to tighten you chain. i can see it bouncing up and down at 2:34 i remember when mine used to whine like that when you slowly pulled the pullstarter until i put a whole new engine in(big bore) you need a new spark plug like 2370332987 other people below me have stated & you gotta put the choke on full and let it warm up before you hit the gas, you can hear it start to bog out
There is no fuel pump on the pocket bike that is a carburetor. Drop it hard on the back wheel few times because the float(inside the carb) is stucked, that should solve the problem.If not let me know!
What kind of bike is it? And when you start it, can you rev the engine (pull the throttle) without it shooting out? In other words is there a neutral even though it's automatic or when you touch the throttle it automatically gets in gear?
m8 put air filter/ choke up till u hear it like starting but cutting out then down the pull again plus my 4 year old mini moto still starts but i dont use it

Have an idea for you. start the engine closes off the fuel and keep the engine running. let the pocketbike just stand and go back to 3 steps and see what happens before the engine stops
I just bought this same exact one from my friend for 80 bucks. I can't start it yet though because he still has to give me the Pull Start which he took apart and it's now at his friends. Also, he took the front window part and the sides that are connected to the window part off. So he has to get me that to. But he painted spray painted it Black, and he did a bad job, so I was wandering how I could remove spray paint from plastic? Please Reply! I really want to know!
