A false prophet is not someone who has missed it a couple of times; you miss it even once you have no business calling yourself a prophet. This is what Scripture says.

Let's ignore the slander (that I prefer false prophets) and let's focus on scripture (which you say you love and you believe I don't) I want to point out a few things that are scripturally true 1. The OT (where Deut 18 is) does not use the term FALSE prophet. The OT does not talk about FALSE PROPHETS, it talks about PROPHETS who prophecy falsehoods. Even Balaam is not labeled a false prophet 2. The term FALSE PROPHET is first used in the new testament but in the NT you don't get a definition that we are discussing here, i.e if you get one thing wrong then you are a false prophet. It's just not there So, being true to scripture we can see that the sin in the OT is prophesying falsehoods, which is a result of either being presumptuous or simply lying. Even Balaam, whose source of prophetic insight is not stated is not labeled a 'false prophet'. Secondly, in the NT where the term FALSE PROPHET is used you don't actually get the definition hereby stated that getting one thing wrong means you are a false prophet. Reread the book of Jeremiah, particularly chapter 23 and Ezekiel 13, which are laced with references to false prophets. One thing I will say about anyone following Christ. We all must be open to correction when we mess up. That’s what makes us better through the word and as one body of Christ. Some may not like Gino’s style but he gets straight to the gospel point. Most preachers/teachers babble too much theology/grammar/philosophy etc. not necessarily hitting the nail on the head. Folks want to hear the gospel truth made simple, not confusing, that’s what Gino preaches. It’s not that complicated.

First of all, All GOD true Prophets are humble, they don't have issue with humility for they stand daily and speak often with THE HOLY LIVING GOD. I don't always agree with you on everything, but this is a good video, that was shocking definition of Prophet by A. Pagani, scary actually. That means these guy can say anything and lead people to stray, make false prediction and feel not guilty about it, this is Blasphemy, and lying in GOD names, speaking when GOD did not give them a message or send them, have they no reverence for GOD, have no fear of the ALMIGHTY, its breaks my heart for it breaks GOD heart....once again, great video, thanks for exposing this in detail with their own words.
What it all seems to come down to is pride. It is pride that produces arrogance and the notion that a person is above scrutiny. We can know that is what it is about when encountering people who get offended at being questioned or disagreed with. Pride makes people feel that they don't owe anyone an explanation and that they should never have to defend what they do or say. It also puffs up a person's ego and view of themselves in relation to others. Pride loves the idea of looking at other people as being beneath them. This is a good video for self reflection. I can recall many instances in my life motivated by pride. But the fact is that it is damaging to both others and even ourselves. That is why it is necessary to address and confront it. The Bible, especially in Proverbs, speaks of pride very negatively and contrasts it with humility. It is humility that allows for a person to even be open to correction or unfavorable dialogue with others.
For someone that’s growing In hearing from God. I could say this, if I feel like I hear a word for someone and ask that person if it was true and they say no than it helps me to realize that what I was hearing was myself and not God so it’s not that I lied or God lied but it’s that I’m learning.
The prophets had a gift of hearing from God things that were to come. God spoke and the prophets listened and told what they heard. That simple. However, these false teachers are trying to think of the gift of prophecy as something that must be developed. This is not so when it comes to the prophets. They never had to practice speaking on God's behalf! And when did they EVER get God's words wrong? So if what authenticates a prophet is their honesty about being wrong at times, the prophets of the Bible must all be fakes! We know that not one true prophet got God's messages wrong.

Pastor Cori, you have NAILED IT! This belief is in the NAR (new apostolic reformation ) big time! That’s what their schools are about. Teaching people how to walk in the prophetic. I’ve asked people who are apart of this group where in scriptures people are instructed to go to “ prophet school “. No! God either speaks to you or He doesn’t! If a so called prophet claims that they received a word from God, and they convey the message to the people, and what they say turns out to be false, I will not listen to that person again even if the person repents. False prophecy is a serious charge in that a false prophet lies on God, period. That being said, I only believe in a prophecy of forth telling, not foretelling.
Trying to understand why we need prophets today if we have the word of God at our fingertips. The prophets in the old testament were needed because there was no written word of God.
There were prophets when the Church was established and there are prophets today. Just because someone has the Scriptures, does not mean they want to hear, read, and understand it. Furthermore, it is mentioned in the Scriptures that there would come a famine not of food or drink but hearing the Word of God.

We as christian get to stopped pointing the finger at each other over make up, hair, money, and materialistic things, for these thing God will add to us as we seek for God's righteous or he will take them away. We get to stopped calling out folks by their name because somebody is wrong and if you can't go to that person in the spirit of meekness let us all stopped name calling. We as christian can get each other number or even write a letter, but this calling out preaches and teachers by name is becoming sickening to me because the world is looking and the love of many is waxing cold because we are bashing and calling each other false. I guarantee this all of us is wrong on something, but prophesy should be rebuke openly because it is seen and heard. I believe every preacher will find fault in each other teaching, for we shouldn't be debating we should be coming together to humble ourselves as brethren not with arrogance as I know more than you. We just don't understand the person whose getting the most laugh outta this is the devil, for he's loving preachers fighting and debating instead of just saying you might be right and I might be right, but Lord help us to grow up to where we all should be and the things we don't understand help our beliefs. Even if it right, help us to come up to its standard, and if it wrong let us see it and correct it.
We spend so much time covering sound doctrine and uplifting God, it would be sinful to not address wolves as the Bible tells us. I wouldn't worry too much about what emotions the devil has, instead I would be worried about what emotions God has towards people distorting His gospel and His people who stand by and just watch.

Well you have to consider that God may change his mind. Jonah was given one message, to preach the destruction of Nineveh. Read the text carefully. God said he’d destroy them. But when they repented, God changed their mind and didn’t destroy that city. But Jonah is considered a real prophet even though his prophecy didn’t come true.
For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:21 You CANNOT be wrong as a prophet because it's not YOU prophecying but the Spirit through you. So I do NOT recognize their definition of a prophet.
The "Lord´s Recovery" or "Local Church" teaches that God approves of only one way to establish a valid church. They claim there should be only one church per city, like there was in the 1st century: the church in Ephesus, the church in Corinth, the church in Smyrna, so today - the church in Los Angeles, the church in New York, the church in London. Anything else is a division and not blessed by God.

What I read in Gods word under the new covenant, in 1corinthians 14:3 the definition of a prophet is one who builds up, consoles, and encourages others. Certainly not the same as Old Testament prophets
You are asking to be exegeted out of believing that God does speak through dreams. A more important qsn is how do you feel about the source of the dreams, assuming sensitivity and discernment on your part
The "Lord´s Recovery" or "the Local Church" teaches it's dangerous to read the Word of God directly because you will misunderstand it. They say you should only know the Bible through the interpretation of a teacher and they exclusively follow and approve of only one teacher: Witness Lee. They say he is the unique minister that God has appointed for this age and that he interpreted the entire Bible correctly and you cannot really understand the full revelation of the Bible outside of his teachings.
So this time, you call out Dr. Michael Brown as false. Exactly what did he teach that’s false? I sat through several of his lectures at Liberty. Though I’ve disagreed with several of his ideas, I can’t say that he’s patently false. You start out by saying that there are about 1-2 heretical teachers. That, I’ll strongly disagree with. There are thousands.
If anyone says anything that they say comes directly from God, it should point directly back to Scripture. God does not contradict Himself nor does He tell us things that He has not already said in His word. That's why we have Scripture. We do not add or take away from Scripture. Hey Corey you are using 1 Peter 3:15 in the 8th minute of video to make the case that they owe you an explanation on non-salvation related understandings/interpretations. What is "the hope that is in you"? we must stick to the context --- what does it mean to be a Christian -- to know what the basis for the reason of our hope is. Hope in Christ. You are doing the very thing you are claiming to be police'ing them for. He is very good at calling out others (continuationists = those who believe that Spiritual gifts remain available to the church) when they bend scriptures to explain their beliefs. (Sighs) There are too many comments in here praising this video. Everyone is so busy throwing stones at Pagani/Isaiah it doesnt matter that what Corey is saying is waaaaayyyyy off. 1 Peter 3:15 has nothing to do with how he is using it. I dont know Corey's fruit as I am not in his life even casually (cant see him outside of the videos), but he does very much seem like one of the good guys. Good guys however can be wrong and he is absolutely wrong on the way he has handled his issues with the individuals (Isaiah and crew) he continues to bring up in his recent videos. I want to point out a few things that are scripturally true
1. The OT (where Deut 18 is) does not use the term FALSE prophet. The OT does not talk about FALSE PROPHETS, it talks about PROPHETS who prophecy falsehoods. Even Balaam is not labeled a false prophet
2. The term FALSE PROPHET is first used in the new testament but in the NT you don't get a definition that we are discussing here, i.e if you get one thing wrong then you are a false prophet. It's just not there
So, being true to scripture we can see that the sin in the OT is prophesying falsehoods, which is a result of either being presumptuous or simply lying. Even Balaam, whose source of prophetic insight is not stated is not labeled a 'false prophet'.
Secondly, in the NT where the term FALSE PROPHET is used you don't actually get the definition hereby stated that getting one thing wrong means you are a false prophet. I am not making the argument that that isn't the case but it's simply not stated.
So you are free to engage on a scripture study and show if my assertions are wrong.
It's presumptuous (similar to prophesying falsehoods) to say someone "prefers false prophets". I hope you get where I am going. So let's do less of slandering one another and engage respectfully

First of all, All GOD true Prophets are humble, they don't have issue with humility for they stand daily and speak often with THE HOLY LIVING GOD.
Second, what determine them, the true Prophets from the false ones, is the TRUTH, TRUTH, TRUTH, is always RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT, and the ACCURATE fulfillment of the Prophecy that was given to them by GOD.
It is shocking how these guys rationalize their false prophecies, the lies they tell in GOD NAME, the irreverence of GOD HOLINESS, the insubordination towards GOD SOVEREIGNTY.
None of them did not even stop to correct the other one, open the Scripture to see what it says about the definition of a Prophet. I am disgusted.
Anyone who truly knows GOD, know that HE must be regarded as HOLY, and HIS NAME must be respected and exalted.

What it all seems to come down to is pride. It is pride that produces arrogance and the notion that a person is above scrutiny. We can know that is what it is about when encountering people who get offended at being questioned or disagreed with. Pride makes people feel that they don't owe anyone an explanation and that they should never have to defend what they do or say. It also puffs up a person's ego and view of themselves in relation to others. Pride loves the idea of looking at other people as being beneath them.
This is a good video for self reflection. I can recall many instances in my life motivated by pride. But the fact is that it is damaging to both others and even ourselves. That is why it is necessary to address and confront it. The Bible, especially in Proverbs, speaks of pride very negatively and contrasts it with humility. It is humility that allows for a person to even be open to correction or unfavorable dialogue with others.
Proverbs 14 : 22 KJV - “Do they not ERR that devise evil? but mercy and truth shall be to them that devise good.”

The prophets had a gift of hearing from God things that were to come. God spoke and the prophets listened and told what they heard. That simple. However, these false teachers are trying to think of the gift of prophecy as something that must be developed. This is not so when it comes to the prophets. They never had to practice speaking on God's behalf! And when did they EVER get God's words wrong? So if what authenticates a prophet is their honesty about being wrong at times, the prophets of the Bible must all be fakes! We know that not one true prophet got God's messages wrong.

If a so called prophet claims that they received a word from God, and they convey the message to the people, and what they say turns out to be false, I will not listen to that person again even if the person repents. False prophecy is a serious charge in that a false prophet lies on God, period. That being said, I only believe in a prophecy of forth telling, not foretelling.
Trying to understand why we need prophets today if we have the word of God at our fingertips. The prophets in the old testament were needed because there was no written word of God.
There were prophets when the Church was established and there are prophets today. Just because someone has the Scriptures, does not mean they want to hear, read, and understand it. Furthermore, it is mentioned in the Scriptures that there would come a famine not of food or drink but hearing the Word of God.

We as christian get to stopped pointing the finger at each other over make up, hair, money, and materialistic things, for these thing God will add to us as we seek for God's righteous or he will take them away. We as christian can get each other number or even write a letter, but this calling out preaches and teachers by name is becoming sickening to me because the world is looking and the love of many is waxing cold because we are bashing and calling each other false. I guarantee this all of us is wrong on something, but prophesy should be rebuke openly because it is seen and heard. I believe every preacher will find fault in each other teaching, for we shouldn't be debating we should be coming together to humble ourselves as brethren not with arrogance as I know more than you. We just don't understand the person whose getting the most laugh outta this is the devil, for he's loving preachers fighting and debating instead of just saying you might be right and I might be right, but Lord help us to grow up to where we all should be and the things we don't understand help our beliefs. Even if it right, help us to come up to its standard, and if it wrong let us see it and correct it.
We spend so much time covering sound doctrine and uplifting God, it would be sinful to not address wolves as the Bible tells us. I wouldn't worry too much about what emotions the devil has, instead I would be worried about what emotions God has towards people distorting His gospel and His people who stand by and just watch.

Well you have to consider that God may change his mind. Jonah was given one message, to preach the destruction of Nineveh. Read the text carefully. God said he’d destroy them. What I read in Gods word under the new covenant, in 1corinthians 14:3 the definition of a prophet is one who builds up, consoles, and encourages others. Certainly not the same as Old Testament prophets

The "Lord´s Recovery" or "the Local Church" teaches it's dangerous to read the Word of God directly because you will misunderstand it. They say you should only know the Bible through the interpretation of a teacher and they exclusively follow and approve of only one teacher: Witness Lee. They say he is the unique minister that God has appointed for this age and that he interpreted the entire Bible correctly and you cannot really understand the full revelation of the Bible outside of his teachings.

God does not contradict Himself nor does He tell us things that He has not already said in His word. That's why we have Scripture. We do not add or take away from Scripture. "Thus says the Lord..." is adding to Scripture.

Hey Corey you are using 1 Peter 3:15 in the 8th minute of video to make the case that they owe you an explanation on non-salvation related understandings/interpretations. What is "the hope that is in you"? we must stick to the context --- what does it mean to be a Christian -- to know what the basis for the reason of our hope is. Hope in Christ. You are doing the very thing you are claiming to be police'ing them for. @@neymar1231 Corey is using a verse to make a point that is very far from the authors intended purpose. He is very good at calling out others (continuationists = those who believe that Spiritual gifts remain available to the church) when they bend scriptures to explain their beliefs. Alot of times I'll say he is typically on point (atleast from my perspective), but lately he has been doing the same thing (bending scripture).
(Sighs) There are too many comments in here praising this video. Everyone is so busy throwing stones at Pagani/Isaiah it doesnt matter that what Corey is saying is waaaaayyyyy off. 1 Peter 3:15 has nothing to do with how he is using it.
I dont know Corey's fruit as I am not in his life even casually (cant see him outside of the videos), but he does very much seem like one of the good guys. Good guys however can be wrong and he is absolutely wrong on the way he has handled his issues with the individuals (Isaiah and crew) he continues to bring up in his recent videos.
He has also given license to the zealous mob (al la Trump- not calling out all Trump supporters --- just the crazy ones --- if you are reading this with conviction then you are probably one of those) to bash and destroy Isaiah and those he aligns with (most of them saying things in here they cant correctly back up with scripture).

The amount of videos he has put out consecutively also speaks to the lack of real study he has done on "certain" topics (study and understanding takes time) (ill go on a limb here and say demons is one topic that he needs to get in a quiet place and begin really studying). Study is not easy. I wish he would be honest with his audience on this. Maybe people would calm down and chill out. I say certain topics because others you can see he has spent a tremendous amount of time studying.
