    All the rebar/iron rods should be at least 4" above the decking so that they will be in the middle of the concrete

      @@Gigo the main aim of having the rebar in the middle of the concrete is to stop water from reaching the rebar one the concrete is dry

    Yes, I just subscribed. I enjoy watching ur projects, d one in Dawaynya( pardon d spelling)is amazing. This one in Pampram, wheres the fence wall, d front of d house, doesn't look well demarcated.

      Aaawww that's nice of you , thanks for the subscription i do appreciate, you right about the front house...would be difficult to demarcate using fence wall.... we see how to go about it when the structure building is there.....am not in favour of a wall but let's see what the neighbours are upto

    Why are you putting the sewage PIPES in or attached to the pillars? If there is a fault, the pillars will be compromised trying to reach the pipes...

    The pitch on drainage pipe is problem in Ghana here. All we know is that the pipe has a slope but the question is that at what percentage 1%, 2% or what.
    Even the use of level is a problem, what level should a plumber purchase does the level already have a plumbers pitch on it or if not how to drop 1/4" per foot or 1/8" per foot to it respective pipe size.

  • @zeplumber

    Is there any pitch on the waste piping? What pitch are the pipe at? How do you keep sewer gas from coming back into building? Where are you located in Ghana? Why no Y fittings instead of tees???

    • @Gigo
      @Gigo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A ventilator will be installed later to keep the gas from coming back to the house , we using Only T's because that's what's needed now it's the pipes are not connected to each other as the distance between then is far so they all hace their drainage beside them going down......the location is Ningo-Prampram....I can confirm the angle of the pipes but i know there is a gentle slop......Thanks for watching 🙏🏾

      Please can a normal three bedroom house be converted into a storey building with the erection of columns even though the foundation was made with the normal five inches block ?

    • @Gigo
      @Gigo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the compliment Man!.....about the conversation is the foundation was deep enough amd 12mm(minimum) Iron rods then its alright....but I will advise that build the new columns to hold the decking and not the 3bedroom just like what Ghana natural Girl ( channel) did with their project......
