Dear Deb, I’m so sorry for your loss. Your interview with Tony is so incredibly moving.
It is so very brave of you to tell Barney’s story, that has moved me to tears.

Powerful and heartbreaking and important to hear.
Thankyou both so very much for this. Enormously sad. But so very important to let people know how destructive and devastating this disease is...to the unrecovered addict but also to family and friends.

Thank you Deb for sharing your story, its incredibly tragic and heartbreaking. I feel almighty guilt listening to it, as the pain that I put my mother through over the years is horrendous. She means the world to me i would never mean to hurt her intentionally but through addiction I know I have. Tony thanks for these story's there very important and have got me back into recovery. Sat here crying. So sorry for your loss. Having worked with rehabs/addiction its so difficult I have had so many clients pass away and it was never easy and it always hurt.

what an amazing lady n she raised such an imoportant point about stigma that is such a big barrier to recovery yet alcohol is a drug that most people drink its crazy lets hope things change
