- Hello curious people !
In this week's video, I beat the ghost house and the secret exit to unlock the cannon ! Guess where we're going next ;)
At the start, I already have the power ups from my previous level, but note that it would also be possible to beat the level without that.
When navigating the house, I have to climb some stairs at one point (0:13), but if I just walk to it, I pass right through without going up. So I use a groundpound to boost Luigi up the stairs.
There are no crazy new tech, no difficult task in this level, so I was able to breeze through relatively easily.

Interesting that the raft level opens up the possibility of entering with Flowers for pretty much any future level

Honestly a nice touch to see the powerups from last level. It does feel like it's the way it would really be in practice!

Amazing, let’s hope they can past 5-cannon while there’s only one place to do some bounce stack and also I’m still worried for 8-1 where it won’t be unbeatable without jumping
Based on the description, I think 5-cannon is next (also 6-tower is probably impossible sooooooo...)
8-1 is probably possible with optimal movement and maybe some powerups.
I watched my friend do an all-starcoinss casual of this game recently, and niether one of us remember this secret exit. neat!
Death count info- This level has 4 deaths to beat the normal exit, and 12 to beat the secret exit. For the purposes of the challenge, the secret exit is "canon", and so we are currently at 393 deaths so far. We beat World 5 with 73 deaths in all. (Subject to potential future TAS improvements)

Hello, I wonder if it would be possible to skip world 5 entirely in the case you can't manage to get 5-T without mini mushrooms
I don't think so, because that would require either getting past 3-Cannon to go to world 6, or 4-Tower to get to 4-Cannon, but both of them start on a completely flat ground with no enemies

I wonder if you're going to come back to the worlds that you skipped once you get through the game (like worlds 3 and 4)

@@adealtas some things:
1. It says that my video has 1 comment, but nothing shows up. If it is you, I couldn't read it.
2. In the video I describe how the Lackitu can be spit while on top of the palm tree, by having the local Lackitu hit you. This was not viable: You cannot climb up the tree fast enough to reach the necessary height. So I just spit the stranger Lackitu very far away and let it rise up (they rise up for some reason).
3. This need to make the Lackitu rise up doesn't let it get high enough. I have recorded the attempts (linked it inside the first video, in the description), but basically, Yoshi can barely get his snout higher up than the palm tree.
4. I need something to get higher up. I wanted to ask whether you know of a method to send the Lackitu further away (the world border won't let me spit it far enough), or if a spiny can hit you with upwards recoil, or whether I can delay the Lackitu from reaching the tree by crashing against him (so that it has time to rise up) or whatnot.

It's fun seeing them kinda taunt the ghosts :p it's a pretty short level but it was still neat to watch
