At last, a grower who mentions isolation methods. So many growers just save seeds from any ripe fruit, whether isolated or not, thereby suffering cross-pollination. I'm so happy to see someone who knows what they are talking about. Thank you.
oh yeah because nature goes out of its way to isolate plants. I forgot that nature mixes all types of genes in order to produce a new better plant. like for real man I mean pants that like lived thousands of years ago no longer live in their original state; they have been modified by nature.
@@demetriuspowell29 hahahaha some people are so stupid lmao not sure if he was being sarcastic or what but when I read that the first time it sounded dumb as fuck
The bags used in the picture with the cluster of tomato flowers is a wedding favor bag and can be purchased at a party store or craft store like Michael's. Hope this helps! :)
Question: Do you still need to maintain the 300ft distance if you use the bags to isolate flowers? As I understood it, the bags are meant to prevent insects from landing on those flowers, but would the fine pollen be able to penetrate those bags if the plants are side-by-side? My concern would be pollen blowing in the wind and pollinating the (already isolated with a bag) flowers on the other plant.
