    Two players, two sets of pieces, and two boards intertwined, entangled in a struggle to annihilate the opposing forces. "Custodial capture" has always been a favorite mechanism of mine in abstract games, and Anti-Grid gives it a little twist.
    I first designed this game a couple of decades ago, but at that time I had no way to produce it and share it with the world. (I published a few copies through The Game Crafter as a board game.)
    While designing our Peg Pastimes games, I realized that the peg format works great for Anti-Grid! Makes it compact and portable (I like that).

      Unic = unique
      Does confeccionated mean created?
      Where are you from Antônio?
      Have you been able to sell your game?

      @@flickingbollocks5542 "Does confeccionated mean created?". Yes. similar words exist in many Latin languages, but according to Oxford dictionary "confection" also exists in english as a noun ("a thing such as a building or piece of clothing, that is made in a way that is complicated or shows skill", which is rather close from the meaning of the verb in many languages. An elaborate word for an elaborate work.) . Comes from the latin "facere", which also gave rise for example to the french "faire", the spanish "hacer", the portuguese "fazer" and the italian "fare", all of which means either "to do" or "to make" (source wiktionary :p)

      I was trying to help him.
      You are here to argue.
      I know what confection means.
      And in English it is not the best word for the meaning.
      Plus THERE IS NO SUCH FLICKING WORD as confeccionated.

      @@flickingbollocks5542 @FLICKING BOLLOCKS Why are you so aggressive? I was not trying to argue at all. I thought your question was genuine. English might not have been your native. It is not mine and I have literally never heard anyone using it despite living in the UK, so I thought it was a rather unusual word. @Antônio Zumpano I'm a mathematician too!

    Have you tried different grid sizes?

    • @DavidMMcCord
      @DavidMMcCord ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes I have. I started out with 15 pieces per player, which seemed a little too much. It didn't really add anything to the game - just more of the same. That said, I tried a smaller size as well, which works OK but it's almost too quick - you didn't have the time or space to work out strategic plans. So, this size simply seemed to "feel" the best.
