And then we see the Alex getting her number even though she isn't vegan, so it looks like the movie approves of her / what she said. But why? Why should you go with what you feel over what you think? It's not like if you go with "what's in your head" it can't make you happy. It's not like feelings and logic are separate. I'd argue that if more people "went with what's in their head" instead of "what's in their heart" we'd have a lot less bullshit going on in the world because ppl would be basing their beliefs / actions on reasons and not feelings. (more ppl might even be vegan bc they won't have the excuse of "i pay to kill animals because eating their flesh FEELS good"). If the message of the movie is to go with what you feel instead of what you think, it kind of ruins the whole movie for me. Esp since this deals with veganism and the most frequently used argument is pretty much "idc about animals, it FEELS good to ME and what I feel is all that matters". I guess I just expected a movie about a vegan character to have a better message than "just follow your heart man, look at how cute this girl is! She laughed! Something sentient does not get its value from that. Many humans or rare cases have been born without the ability to feel any pain and that in no way does it diminish their instrincis worth. Pain is not recipe for value in life its has a purpose to let a girl know who is born without pain to get her hand of the stove because she cant feel it.

This is a casual film on vegan dating, it doesn’t really have any facts and is just for fun. That is a bit unusual for vegan media and we should have more of it haha. I think the film makes a bit of a lax stance on veganism though when the audience for this would have to be vegans anyway. I am not sure I like the main message and I can’t make much out of it. It is a pretty short film and not much happens so it’s hard to comment, it definitely feels like skit rather than something that could realistically help you. It has a bit of a relatable side with how openly silly the characters are and you can easily see their flaws.
At 12:00 , it just dawned on me that the guy holding the camera was his best friend. At the beginning, I thought that guy was his dad. He looks too old to be a best friend. This is a weird film. Why am I watching this?
