A MIGHTY FINE(line) EPISODE! Your dedication is a testament that stop motion can always been taken to the next level; cuz WOW this was a lot of work and it paid off! Great episode Fred😎🤙
Thank you Jonah, I appreciate it! This episode definitely was a lot of effort and took a lot out of me so I'm glad it paid off! Now we just gotta take it to the NEXT level for the next episode!
What an episode! It was exciting to see Kingpin and his wife Vanessa, and the climax was shocking and definitely gets me hyped for the next episode. Excellent work!
Thanks Green Leaf! I'm glad you liked it, it was definitely exciting getting to write this episode and in particular Kingpin's dynamic, especially with his wife (WHERE IS HIS WIFE)
This video is stunning, every shot looks astonishing, and the FIGHT SCENES 😫. Everything is so damn GOOD. Plus the sound design and voice actors are incredible, 10/10 VIDEO BRO. LET THE DEVIL OUT!!!
There's so much craft and care put into these episodes, Fred. I love the bits where you really take the wheel and steer like when Dex is waving his hand in front of Matt, taunting him, or Urich just throwing up the head like a ball. It's small attention to detail that just makes the way you write and animate feel alive, even the weight when a character walks or punches feels real. It's almost an invisible art how well these episodes are put together but feels so seamless even on every re-watch. I really admire the eye you have for the story and animation and it was a blast to be able to work on this episode at all, great job, Fred! I'm excited to see just how much better the rest of this series is going to be!
Thank you so much Josh, your words are kind and they are very much appreciated! I'm glad the small details don't go unnoticed. It was a pleasure to have your help as well, and as we both know the rest of the series is gonna be straight fire!
Way to go Fred! Lots of great stuff in this instalment. I really like the use of your LED lights for the lighting, the shot composition is gorgeous and carefully throughout, and there's tons of smooth animation all throughout the episode. Awesome work and I'm looking forward to what you've got cooking next!
not sure if ive said this before but you genuinely have the most unique style in the brickfilming community, like nobody comes close! absolutely loved this, keep it up!
Truly a spectacle! You did a spectacular job in regards to the visuals. The lighting and scenery is such a vibe. The animation, like always, is a wonder for the eyes. And the story is developing in an interesting way, some points from the past (even of a different video) are connecting, not to mention how we're further seeing Matt's inner struggles getting tougher and tougher as we go on. Might lead to something but we'll see. Overall, be proud of yourself on this one!
RAHHH thank you man! Appreciate it! That's awesome that you picked up on the other plot points from the series/universe, and I'm glad you're enjoying the thematic undertones as well as the actual production!
Kingpin was definitely something I wanted to tackle just right and with a certain delicacy so as to distinguish this version from other takes, so I'm glad you liked it!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 I Cannot Even Begin To Describe and Express How Impressive Of A Feat This Episode Is. This Series So Far Has Been Treated With So Much Care and Respect Into Its Craft Into A Industry Standard Series. From The Opening One Shot, Tremendous vocal peformances perfectly encapuslating the characters of Wilson Fisk, Vannesa, Dare Devil & Benjamin Point Dexter. The Dynamic Cinematography, lighting, pacing and selectivity of when to include music (and when not to) make for a well paced story which engages you throughout. I love the concept of Wilson Fisk being forced to return to New York, the Rain effect is tremendously done, I found myself at certain points emphasizing with the characters especialy at the end of the one to one scene with Wilson Fisk and Vannesa which just goes to show how you have put a great story up first and foremost. Excellent Work and Cannot wait to see the next episode!
Wow, thank you so much, that honestly means a lot! I'm glad you like the character writing, because that's something I really had a blast doing, especially with regards to showing different sides of the same character (i.e. Fisk's vulnerable, human side; Dex's unhinged side; Matt's inner darkness; etc.). I particularly enjoyed writing this episode too, because this is the episode where most of the moving pieces converge, with the rest of the series following through with the consequences of this climax. Thanks once again, and I also cannot wait to start working on the next episode!
Dude this was so good! I loved every second of it, the visuals were amazing, lighting was perfect, the fight scenes were incredible, I could go on and on about how amazing the episode was! Awesome job with this episode! Can’t wait to see what’s next for Daredevil!
This is really good. The animation and the movement of the camera really keeps you in tuned wit the video like your actually there! Keep up the fire work 🔥‼️
Oh this, this is beautiful! I absolutely love the visuals in this. Seeing your style of visual storytelling come to fruition makes this all the more satisfying to watch! Fantastic job man!
You’re goated for making it for 25 minutes. Not only that the action was pack in this film. Amazing work bro, I hope you continue making these W content🙏
Hi! I’m the voice actor for Wilson Fisk! This episode turned out amazing! I must say, the cinematography and story is great and does a great job at encapsulating the tone of Daredevil as a whole! Everyone who worked on this did a fantastic job! I can’t wait to see what comes next!
Thank you very much! You really knocked it out of the park man, the scenes with Wilson Fisk definitely wouldn't have carried the same gravitas without your help!
The compliments are much appreciated. Kingpin is my favorite Marvel villain and my favorite character from the Daredevil series in the MCU, so it was an honor to play him.
20:52 will he turn into bullseye? But besides that this was great!! I think that you show daredevil really well, I also like the idea that he is becoming the monster he once fought against!! This was really well done and I hope your proud of you work mr. Line of fine!
I guess we'll just have to wait and see ;) Thank you very much! I'm glad you've picked up on some of the thematic character progression, that's something I really wanted to emphasize going into the project.
