65lb is my regular 4 season full loadout (and that's with a full MSS). I recently did a 90lb load while traveling and it was unbelievable how much less it felt once on my back. The ILBE is just an Arc'Tyrex Bora on steroids. Best military pack easy. Thanks for the vid USMed.
I'm just getting into backpacking/camping/trekking with my 9 yr old and chose to purchase an ILBE & Assault pack combo as a bag for each of us. We'll figure out what works/doesn't work for us as we go. I'm also going with the MMSS, purchasing a 2nd bivy for Jr. Going with a tarp and aluminum stakes for shelter. I actually returned a namebrand hikers pack after receiving it and went this direction not just to save money but as a way to figure out what works for us. Forget Joe ...do your thing!
I agree. I don't really have anything to hide so if they wana search me they can, This pack is now used for all my fire gear when i get deployed to a major wildland fire. But you do hit a good point
Yeah, I am a fan of that pack as well. And would agree camo is not the best for a urban pack, i use this pack now as more of a hiking or multi day trip in the outdoors.
They are Based in the UK although not made in the US lots of US guys and other military use their gear, It is made very very good just like any other US made gear.
Damn. There is a shit ton of snow where I live (which is not normal at all) and I see a video of you sitting in shorts and t-shirt. Screw you! lol But seriously - good video dude.
Awesome setup sir. I have a platypus water bottle I got on clearance at dicks. And the damn thing split in my bag. I was not rough with it all. What do u think of yours.
I was looking at the WARRIOR ASSAULT SYSTEMS (CARGO PACK) and was interested but I like to buy American made products if I can. Do you know if it is American made? & is the quality good? Thanks!
I have 3 of them and 2 are in this pack and i have beat them all to hell and not one has broke. Maybe you just got a bad one in the bunch And thanks for the feedback
Hmm ok well Don't know what pack you have because that gear flap wont fit over my assault pack loaded, And the top buckles attach to the assault pack the same ones the gear flap uses so don't know how that works. We didn't have these packs back when i was in, So one of our range instructors i work with is still active and i will confirm with him
Yeah there's always a hater who will hate lol, I just thought it was funny he was saying i was to broke to buy a lighter bag. Thanks for the chime in, Cheers
I like the pack, but i prefer a civilian color instead of a military Camo. i hate profiles that government creates to single out folks. Do you think in todays panicking LE that they will not request to search your car if they see that pack? Veterans are now being viewed as potential problems or terrorist, so get ready for the hard times ahead and avoid profiles and only use high quality civilian gear.
just saw you on the military channel great job man
Awesome sounds great, It's nice to see dads getting into these things with their kids and family, Best of luck and keep up the good work
Awesome gear man. Been a sub long time. Threw the name changes I lost ya for a bit but back again man. Thanks for all the good ideas.
Yea, believe I gotta get me one, and I have a qrp ham transceiver that'll fit great in the radio pouch.
Thank you! I bought the cargo pack and cant wait till I get it!
USMC ILBE is decently rugged with lots of MOLLE attachment potential. I love it.

Awesome setup sir. I have a platypus water bottle I got on clearance at dicks. And the damn thing split in my bag. I was not rough with it all. What do u think of yours.
