I made an amazing 6 in 1 drill Press that has never been seen before.
This machine is no longer a drill press! This is a general purpose drill system.

Six functions of drilling machine, woodworking lathe, drum sander, disk sander, router lathe and drill sander are combined into one.
Designed with emphasis on versatility, you can add features that can be added by adding fixtures.
The drilling machine is equipped with a laser site, a motorized lifting function, and a variable table that can be tilted up to 45 °.
Of course, fine adjustments are made so that holes can be machined to the right-angled accuracy comparable to commercially available drilling machines.

I basically never comment on TH-cam videos, but when you flipped it on its side and turned it into a lathe I lost it. Holy shit man, what an incredible piece of engineering. This is beautiful.
Finally the most awaited part the how to make the amazing "Drill Press System" by Jisaku-Kobo. Thank you Kobo-san, for the this video and for other videos to come especially the part two of the 6-1 Drill Press System.

The big thing to change is the drill motor, if you want more accurate holes, more power and longevity. Some attachments look flimsy, but...it’s wood! Still, very, very nice and beyond serviceable in a home shop. Thank you for sharing.

This is amazing work my friend. You are not building jigs. You are building entire tool systems.
It reminded me that DIY CNC router folks started using epoxy and quartz sand/fiber to cast heavy-duty bodies/frames/tables for their machines because the rezin is relatively cheap and correct formilations have no expansion/shrinkage after curing.
I really like your builds. All in one shop out of mainly wood..Super job!

A beautiful machine, than you! Drum sander mode: perhaps use your power feed table to slowly raise/lower your sanding location, to increase sandpaper longevity? Such a nice tool needs a nice big motor now!
