I love the idea, but for this to be success you need several key persons per small group and most of the times Reception Class teachers are alone.
Even when you would have a small group of 10 children, while you are with 1 child following and supporting their interests, there might be other children having social-emotional needs to be taken care of and, when not, disagreements might rise upon them. Therefore, even if you have a small class, you would need a TA to help support those issues while you as a teacher go around the classroom for everyone.
Which is the child/practitioner ratio in this classroom? I would greatly appreciate an answer from this school or those who recorded it.
