I think infantry been in a really bad position right now and btw why you didnt mention the leadership legs for infantry? it feels more of an upgrate to infantry marches than eternal night (i have and tried both),since most inf gear has defense and the commanders kinda lack health
Infantry has the current strongest field march (Liu Scipio) and the current strongest garrison leader (Gorgo + whatever). Idk why infantry mains cry, cav is in a much more worse position now.

Any new players listening to this, dont rush t5, specially if you are buying books for castle… dont do that! Focus on your equipment to legendary from pre kvk to kvk3. Get the legendary set blueprints. Once you have at least 1 full set of legendary equipment, make that troop type t5. This will save you tons of speed ups and rss and not feel bad when your t5 getting shit on by t4.
The only thing I would include in this is also vip 14. Once you've done that, and have some good equipment, THEN go for the t5. But overall, good advice, bro 💪💪💪💪

Something to consider - what rss take the least amount of time to farm, Food&Wood (which is what it cost to train and heal inf) - what rss are used the least to heal, wood and food - which troop type commanders that are good and are available early and late, inf - what skins are good early and late, inf - what troop type is used for garrison early and late, inf. These are some of the things I considered when I started, and im F2P.
This is the first time in a while where I've felt good about being an infantry main. I can also vouch for some of these top pairs, being guan/scipio and Liu/Alex. Of course, scipio/liu is the best option, but indeed, for a 2 inf march selection, it is the best options for the field. Yeah, sargon and gorgo have the ability to hit hard, but I think an infantry main should be far more concerned about march speed than slightly more damage. Not to mention, sargon is single target, and only does damage over time. And we all know his slow ass ain't catching or keeping up with anybody, except for maybe with a Liu nearby hitting them with a slow 😂😂😂 The wonderful thing about Alex, though not doing a ton of damage, he is very supportive to local allies, and definitely has great synergy with Liu, and it makes me feel better about expertising him all that time ago. Bro, I am playing the game for almost a full year now and still didn't come across the Gingerbread City Skin 😢. I vouch for the Scipi Prime - Liu Che pair. Using them right now in my first SoC and they are rocking! Nice video Omni very helpful!
@thecommentor246 gorgo is definitely very good Primary with liu, the only issue is she's incredibly slow, which makes field fighting with her a bit of a challenge if you're focused. March speed is incredibly important with field fighting infantry if you ask me, but this is only my opinion. Sometimes, getting away and preserving your march is better than doing slightly more damage, especially with altar fights

It does nothing for Liu Che arguably the best infantry commander in the game. If you're running Scipio/Liu Che Scipio will at least get a buff. I believe rome is very good too base defense and march speed. Most infantry marches have a high amount of % deff so higher base defence wil result in way more deff
ok maybe someone can give me an answer or advice. I have a maxed guan, skip, Sargon and Liu Che. I'm an inf main and can really only bring one solid march out that is geared up. I bring skip/Liu. I have Gorgo at 5121. I will be able to max her in a couple weeks. I do not have a garrison commander at this point anyway. Do I max her and have a good garrison for flags and my city or wait for another inf garrison? I don't spend much and should be able to have another set of good inf gear soon as I will have the kvk hammer and kvk helm since we are about win this kvk. I've heard that she is good in field with Liu and when I get two gear sets, I could run skip/Sargon too. need some advice

Just my opinion looking at your marches. Nevsky-Joan is still meta, Boudica-YSG is still that good but Guan has fallen off and no doubt LC is the best replacement especially there's no counter for smite damage from talent tree or commander skill iirc.
I think if you don't have guan you just stick to 5551 scipio and you goood cuz you won't be getting much value from the expertise then and it cost alot of heads

As a F2p I prefer the previous guide where YSG was the priority. I have an idea where kvk 1 I will focus on sun tzu and martel (5511) and start getting YSG. KVK 2 I will use martel and YSG (skip alex). Then kvk 3 gets guan, scipio. With this guide, I became confused about the focus of the sculpture division between YSG and Alex. Do you think when kvk 2 starts and you get Alex in hand, who will be Alex's pairing and will we be able to get enough KP in kingdom?
@@realjohnlove if you're going to kingdom with SoC seed B C D, in my opinion, phyross is still usable, you will get a lot of kill at kvk 1 and 2, and you can still survive as f2p at SoC with liu phyross

@c-o6985 pyrrhus LC is ok, however you're going to want to eventually make your way to scipio/LC, or if you have him, you can do LC/Alex. I personally use the latter, and it's incredible in the field. That let's me keep my guan out in the field with my scipio secondary, but can also pair scipio/LC for altar fights or if I begin running low on infantry. I agree with Omni, I would NOT invest any universals in your Pyrrhus, because you'll get his heads over time in gold keys and there are many other WAY more powerful commanders that are actually worth your universals, like scipio p. That guy ain't going anywhere for quite some time still, as he's part of the most meta field march in the game by a long shot.

Guan only at 5111 and minamoto at 5521 what I should do next ? I Plan to make liu che expertise at this moment I have 390 golden sculpture. Also liu che with Alex ; guan 5111 with scipio is okay ? Give me some advice I spent 20k all infantry maxed vip18 played for 2,196 days without missing a day 39 million dead troops and only 3bil kills I can't figure out why my Open field sucks
Dude...are you saying you spent 20k into the game?? 😱 With vip18, and all inf maxed, if you r having troubles doing kp its probably your approach on how to open field and your gear. Dont go alone, fight in groups, when targeted call troops back until enemy stops targetting you and go again, always inside a "ball" of allies troops. And dont be afraid of killing troops joining flags, rallies and passes. Fight smart, analyze field before going head on. I spent less than 1k in 4 years, VIP 16 and also have near 3B Kills. Currently Im using 2 inf, 2 cavs and 1 archer. Dont restrain to just one type, specially if you are p2w. Good luck
Unfortunately the strongest infantry March right now is gorgo liu. If they ignore you do crazy damage if they target you it still do very well it's anti swarm as pakal Harald and do almost as damage as Scipio liu
Just finished up a kvk. Will have some time to rest and refit for the next one. I have the possibility of two infantry pairs in a 5 march set . I have Guan, Scipio and Alex all experticed, and a 5511 Lu Che. How would you pair them in this scenario? Ty folks 😊
I'd say to try and at least 5515, or even 5551 liu che (expertise should definitely be your overall goal eventually for the extra normal attacks, it's amazing), and pair him with Alex with arch formation and armaments. And I would slap guan with scipio secondary with wedge formation and armaments. Yes, scipio/liu che is amazing, however, in the current meta, if you wanna build 2 sound inf marches, you have to split them up. I will say from exp, Liu/Alex (both expertised) does perform VERY well in the mb, providing a bunch of damage and support. And we know how well guan/scipio is in terms of the mb. Neither are dueling builds, so don't expect honesty out of a duel report. The real truth is in the mb, surrounded by allies and enemies, where their aoe damage and support skills can really shine. Another thing I failed to mention, guan/alex is a thing, however it's a hospital filler if you get caught out of position. The pair themselves don't really have enough health or defensive stats, where as liu/alex together get quite a bit of defense between the 2, and scipios huge health buff makes up for guan lacks in health/defense.
At this point in the game, alex is one of those commanders where you go all in or nothing. So if you start, just finish. As it is, he gets benched for a bit while he waits on LC. Also, pyrrhus is a gk commander, and putting universals in them is poor long term investment for f2p and lowspenders. If you can get him to 5511 with gk alone, cool. But keep in mind, he'll eventually get expertised anyways over time, and there are so many better commanders to invest your universals into.
hey omni a question , I have a 5551 Liu and im using him secondary to an exp Tariq , should i continue with the tariq liu , or should i use the liu alex (exp) combo ?
I've been thinking about that myself honestly. I think the Tariq combo will hit harder but the Alex march will help your other armies hit harder, so I can't say for sure... However I will say that you should definitely run Liu Che as the primary in either case, I found the defense tree doesn't hit as hard in the field as the attack tree

I am not sure about the whole thing with losing 10% attack. When you have smite, you want the attack. Before smite came in, twightlghit falls was barely ok. Now, it is also just barely ok. Not sure it is worth the price. For sure, it is a very very low priority
TLDR omniarch saying you should suck it up and use epic until kvk 3 if you are F2P player for best value. and yes imo that is suck and not gonna be nice 7-8 months playing time and players mostly gonna drop the game.

Best gathering commanders are simply all blue ones, joan of arc and the best of All is Matilda. Dont invest in the legendary ones and get all of them 5555 and lvl 37 and get the Full gathering Set if possible special Talented

I would max Liu Che and then get Hermann Prime 5551 :) then you can do Scipio/LC, Nevsky/Joan, and Zhuge/Hermann 5551

What about take phyros at kvk 1 5511, expertise him at kvk 2, and kvk 3 you pair him with liu che?
It depends on if you wanna be able to instant max Season 3 commanders.

Hey Omni, for late game would Ottomon still be relevant for inf main? Considering Liu is now meta and is based on normal damage. Also, since the guess is that going forward inf would be more focused towards smite

@c-o6985 pyrrhus LC is ok, however you're going to want to eventually make your way to scipio/LC, or if you have him, you can do LC/Alex. I personally use the latter, and it's incredible in the field. That let's me keep my guan out in the field with my scipio secondary, but can also pair scipio/LC for altar fights or if I begin running low on infantry. I agree with Omni, I would NOT invest any universals in your Pyrrhus, because you'll get his heads over time in gold keys and there are many other WAY more powerful commanders that are actually worth your universals, like scipio p. That guy ain't going anywhere for quite some time still, as he's part of the most meta field march in the game by a long shot.

Guan only at 5111 and minamoto at 5521 what I should do next ? I Plan to make liu che expertise at this moment I have 390 golden sculpture. Also liu che with Alex ; guan 5111 with scipio is okay ? And the third zhuge with ysg is that okay or should I go for Nevski ? Or someone else I think more than 3 marches are is apparently not good in my situation 😂😂 thank you 🙏

Dude...are you saying you spent 20k into the game?? 😱
With vip18, and all inf maxed, if you r having troubles doing kp its probably your approach on how to open field and your gear.
Dont go alone, fight in groups, when targeted call troops back until enemy stops targetting you and go again, always inside a "ball" of allies troops.
And dont be afraid of killing troops joining flags, rallies and passes.
Fight smart, analyze field before going head on.
I spent less than 1k in 4 years, VIP 16 and also have near 3B Kills.
Currently Im using 2 inf, 2 cavs and 1 archer.
Dont restrain to just one type, specially if you are p2w.

Unfortunately the strongest infantry March right now is gorgo liu. If they ignore you do crazy damage if they target you it still do very well it's anti swarm as pakal Harald and do almost as damage as Scipio liu
Sure, but the debuffs in murderballs with Scipio is far superior. Gorgo Liu is more of a selfish march like Atilla and Pakal.
Just finished up a kvk. Will have some time to rest and refit for the next one. I have the possibility of two infantry pairs in a 5 march set . I have Guan, Scipio and Alex all experticed, and a 5511 Lu Che. How would you pair them in this scenario? Ty folks 😊
I'd say to try and at least 5515, or even 5551 liu che (expertise should definitely be your overall goal eventually for the extra normal attacks, it's amazing), and pair him with Alex with arch formation and armaments. And I would slap guan with scipio secondary with wedge formation and armaments. Yes, scipio/liu che is amazing, however, in the current meta, if you wanna build 2 sound inf marches, you have to split them up. I will say from exp, Liu/Alex (both expertised) does perform VERY well in the mb, providing a bunch of damage and support. And we know how well guan/scipio is in terms of the mb. Neither are dueling builds, so don't expect honesty out of a duel report. The real truth is in the mb, surrounded by allies and enemies, where their aoe damage and support skills can really shine. Another thing I failed to mention, guan/alex is a thing, however it's a hospital filler if you get caught out of position. The pair themselves don't really have enough health or defensive stats, where as liu/alex together get quite a bit of defense between the 2, and scipios huge health buff makes up for guan lacks in health/defense.

In kvk 2 I recommend Alexander the great 5511 and phyruss 5511 it has good synergy even at 5111
At this point in the game, alex is one of those commanders where you go all in or nothing. So if you start, just finish. As it is, he gets benched for a bit while he waits on LC. Also, pyrrhus is a gk commander, and putting universals in them is poor long term investment for f2p and lowspenders. If you can get him to 5511 with gk alone, cool. But keep in mind, he'll eventually get expertised anyways over time, and there are so many better commanders to invest your universals into.
hey omni a question , I have a 5551 Liu and im using him secondary to an exp Tariq , should i continue with the tariq liu , or should i use the liu alex (exp) combo ?
I've been thinking about that myself honestly. I think the Tariq combo will hit harder but the Alex march will help your other armies hit harder, so I can't say for sure... However I will say that you should definitely run Liu Che as the primary in either case, I found the defense tree doesn't hit as hard in the field as the attack tree

I am not sure about the whole thing with losing 10% attack. When you have smite, you want the attack. Before smite came in, twightlghit falls was barely ok. Now, it is also just barely ok. Not sure it is worth the price. For sure, it is a very very low priority
No need to worry on losing 10% attack in infantry because 5% skill damage is much worth

TLDR omniarch saying you should suck it up and use epic until kvk 3 if you are F2P player for best value. and yes imo that is suck and not gonna be nice 7-8 months playing time and players mostly gonna drop the game.

Zhuge will be useful for a long time in much the same way as YSG was for so long considering that he’s basically the 2.0 version of YSG
How could you say Zhuge will be replaced. With that aoe hitting 5 targets, Zhuge will be still usefull even after 2years from now

Best gathering commanders are simply all blue ones, joan of arc and the best of All is Matilda. Dont invest in the legendary ones and get all of them 5555 and lvl 37 and get the Full gathering Set if possible special Talented
F2P isn't even a thing in this game. It's been around a year since I last played. Don't think much changed. But if it did do let me know.
