we're not really hate the ae, we kind of have a love and hate relationship with them, on one side, we love the sci-fi concept and the storyline, but on the other side, like giselle said, the aes are so lazy that they didn't do anything but they got acknowledge as the "members"🙄

a lot of people like the actual concept, the aes and lore is super cool and unique for music videos. but making the girls pretend in interviews that these cgi members are real people that they talk with is cringe as hell

I feel like it's a bit like with EXO and their superpowers. In the MVs and storyline,it's cool but when they were asked about their superpowers in interviews or variety shows its awkward and cringe.
Plus you can see how uncomfortable they are when talking about it,like they have to pretend they talk with their ae and all

I highkey think the members do hate it tbvh… yes SM is known for trying new stuff - which I applaud 👏🏻 - but they also just come up with concepts or songs or whatever and just giving/shoving them to their groups without consideration of whether the idols like it or are comfortable with it…
Imagine training and debuting only to be less of an artists but more of a lore character. I’m sure idols that trained hoping to be popular and become a celeb are fine with whatever means, but if you’re someone who wanted to pursue music and become an artist and then boom this… lol I can’t even fathom the amount of SIGHS they do on a daily basis
