how would you get the helium inside?
Hydrogen would be better than helium. That would be much cheaper and easier to arrange and a ping pong ball of gas wouldn't be very dangerous if it explodes. Simply put two holes in it, let hydrogen flow through and tape it off. It would no longer be a 3 star ball, of course!
They could do an extra video showing how to produce the hydrogen using a couple of metal sticks, a battery, a bowl of water and some Pongfinity tape.
