Just ordered my son his first turntable for his birthday, can't wait for his Planar plus 1 to arrive, he loves his music and is just getting into vinyl. Plus its made only 10 miles up the road.

Ab fab, nice to at last witness the process in manufacturing itself. The best buy in turntables one can have. Now playing my third Rega, of course all purchased as factory new. An excellent second hand purchase as well. Could not recommend more for its outstanding price and quality ratio. In about max. thousand euros range unbeatable in the world. Still.

I just picked up a FREE boxed full functioning Rega Ellicit R (with remote) and power cord. 🖐
Rega, I gotta admit, your amps are firmly at the upper end of 'hell yeah' in the bass department. 😉

I have a P3 and loving it. Got to point out that when i bought it, the Elys 2 cartridge was faulty and the bloke from the hifi shop did 40 miles to come and change it.

I'm looking forward to receiving my P2 turntable that I have ordered. It is nice to be able to buy a turntable made in England to a good standard rather a Chinese manufactured one which might have poor quality control.

Why manufacture and source components from China when you have a wealth of small businesses you can source high quality components from, right here in the UK, whilst supporting the local economy? Why outsource manufacturing when you can oversee the production process in-house with a greater level of control and better results?
Regas business model works incredibly well. They rarely apply steep price increases to their products unless they've made vast improvements on the model, which is a good, honest pricing strategy. The added bonus is that it's also generally better for the environment not to import materials or components from as far away as South East Asia. And an entry level Rega TT is about 250 quid - bargain!
