The concept of 2 heavily political bands, and songs, is extremely powerful. While the dissonance in the beatmatching gets akward. Then smooths it out, it connects on multiple levels. Very intelligent!

It’d be genius if you had cleaned up the timing. Fogertys verses could have been sliced and moved just a touch in some spots and it would be rhythmically “on beat” the whole way. Not sure why he didn’t take the extra hour to do this. Either way, i CANNOT stop listening to it.
Killing in the name of used mostly d major as well but it’s coming from a non root position, in addition to this , the melody line of the vocals is on what is called “contrary motion” to the riff in the verse. Even the fills morello uses up the neck are major fills.
The best part is when you just see CCR standing there all happy playing and you can just hear the angry RATM music in the background! looks very funny! :D

I respect both bands, was a kid when CCR ruled the world for 3 years, & not a sampling or mashup fan… but this works at least 95% of the time & that’s damn good.
I thought it sounded great. The slower, less abrasive CCR vocals over RATM's aggressive metal instrumentation made it sounds kinda like a Type Ø Negative song.
The thing I love about your mashups is that they aren't just the sum of both songs, you do it in a way that makes the end result its own totally different song that is actually really enjoyable to listen to. I also think that's the difference between this channel and other mashups on TH-cam.
