- We LOVE good A-cappella music! Choriosity is a community-based a-cappella-choir in the YMCA (CVJM) Ulm. 120 singers aged 18 to (about ;) 30 dive into the diversity of sound, rhythms and a-cappella-feeling!

I have the feeling they are to "happy" to express the song right. It doesn't feel right.

It's about homosexuality and homophobia in modern society
Lesli D yeah the official music video hints to alot about what is about which again is about homosexuality and homophobia though it does poke a little bit about religion and kind of critisizing the fact that sexuality is looked down upon among most church goers which i agree with Hozier (the man who wrote the song) that it is quite disgusting how society gives sexuality this horrible reputation of how you’re “going to go to hell” for being gay or trans it is really sad that our world has come to this... but then again i’m just voicing my opinions about sexuality the topic that this song is about if you dont agree then go on with your life i have my beleifs you have yours which is totally fine :) also the music video is definitely not for the kind hearted it deals with so many serious topics, dont get me wrong it is a work of art but then again im just saying... :) have a wonderful day
The writer himself has said that this song is about sexuality and having sex. For that moment everything fits (pun intended) and you feel like you are invincible, that love, regardless of sexual tendency, can surpass everything.

Ikea Lawrence i mean she does have a point they arent too good they have potential they just need a little more practice and Grace could have worded what he/she said differently :)
Their voices don’t go together
I agree they have good voices but I also think, like Jonina, if you listen carefully the men in the harmony part are singing in unison and the women as well, even the girls are singing good in their melody part.
The problem with the tenors is the melody, they need more practice to be in unison with notes and time values, also the color of their part...
Maybe trying to sing louder to not to dissapear into harmony's voices was the problem, perhaps they can solve it making the harmony sing more quietly because they are like 40 people or teaching the tenors to sing louder without singing out of tune...
Anyway they need to concentrate in singing like a chord, not like different voices at the same time.
The good thing is that they corrected their mistake and their harmony parts where fine. It's a precious song and with more rehearsals they'll be able to sing it beautifully. The choirs learn from their mistakes working together, I hope to hear them again.
