What makes this worse for JJ is that throughout the two-year build-up to Jake vs. Tommy, the amount of verbal abuse or trash talk that Tommy got was quite crazy for him.
1. Tommy is very young.
2. He was accused of ducking Jake on two occasions which were out of his hand.
3. From the boxing world to Jake they've been verbally abusing him at every single moment, hell his own family said they'd disown him if he lost, whether they meant it or not, it's something that Tommy always had in the back of his head.
4. He never thought on a big stage in a packed crowd.
5. His wife just had a baby that was born right around the fight.
All this build-up to someone so young as Tommy is much more than the average early twenties would ever go through.
As much as Jake says he's "better" than Tommy, I think he was mostly banking on Tommy folding under the pressure more than anything.

If anything, that would mean he would be training a lot less for JJ than for Jake Paul since the pressure is gone and he's more of a confident fighter. Im failing to see your logic.
@@ompatel5570no because confidence has nothing to do with the amount of training he undergoes. What he means is that he will no longer have the nerve of "not beating a TH-camr" since now it's clear that all fighters put in the time and it wouldn't look as bad if he loses.
i think the oppsoite was going to happen nothing motivates people more than fear tommy himself said he's never trained harder for a fight than the jake paul fight, ksi isn't going to well but he will do much better than people think he would because on that night of the jake paul fight we saw the best tommy fury and i don't think we are seeing that for the ksi fight.

Tommy is capable of fully hulking out at lightning speed; against the less-experienced or losing-record opponents, he's looked scary. KSI has a handful of fights, and a part-timer... if history is indicative, this could be an absolute slaughter. If it's not, it'll be a clinical 10-9, every single round.

I don’t think JJ can go into this fight with a traditional fighting style, but I also think that if he goes in like he did against Fournier, then he’s getting knocked down when he’s off balance bouncing around the ring. I just can’t see HOW he can adapt his style to surprise Tommy Fury. I can’t see an outcome to this fight where JJ wins

@@ImTitan16 I think Fury will outweigh JJ come fight night. He’ll come in dehydrated just about on weight, and then he’ll rehydrate and outweigh JJ by quite a lot. I don’t think JJ will have the power to knock Tommy out and I don’t think he’ll have the technical knowledge or ability to outbox him either. I could of course be completely wrong and underestimating JJ…

On the flip side that could be a boost as well as a detriment for Tommy is the lack of fear or overwhelming pressure he has this time around. Nothing from his family, his country, or the fanbase leading him to believe that he'd be disowned from them or the sport for this fight. It is very possible that Tommy, instead of coming in nervous, comes in overconfident and gives JJ no respect as he would with Jake. Confidence on top of skill is the biggest key, it's just about who has the right balance on the night. Tommy believes there's no pressure, KSI wants it all on his back.
I agree with what you're saying and would like to add to it that I think the level of compusure he will have this time by having overcome everything the first time with Jake will benefit Tommy a lot.
Not saying Tommy is (he might one day be, who knows) but a lot of the great boxers like Floyd Mayweather perform so good because they can maintain a level of compusure under the lights and I think the exeperience with Jake will be enough for Tommy to handle a lesser boxer in KSI.
I agree that he cannot be too cocky and think he can win without training but if he trains well and takes it seriously he should have little trouble with KSI
John recently said they are taking KSI seriously and training for this fight like they are training for a world championship title fight.

I think you underestimate and don't see the confidence of Tommy. He's not as pressured as you make out he is. If anything under all that pressure with jake he was extremely composed and confident. He's not ego fueled either. You're making out like he's not level headed and all the evidence points to that he is.

I think one thing Tommy Fury does, which isn't high level but it's rare in the influencer boxing scene which is Tommy Rolls with the punches and he is good at it as well. Meaning JJ moght land that punch but the power transferred will be less than JJ is expecting.
Tommy is also good at putting his opponent's on the backfoot with combination's too it's going to be interesting to see how Jj deals with higher levels of volume and output.
Lowkey I think tommy can just eat ksi's power, ksi caught joe clean af in the first and he ate it.

One thing that KSI said in the Fournier fight was that he couldn't get into a rhythm and this is because Fournier was interrupting his rhythm, Forunier was just too old and therefore too slow to do anything of note. However, we saw him change tactics in response to KSI, Tommy Fury's ring IQ will be higher than Fournier and due to his age be able able respond properly. This will be an issue with KSI's game plan in which he hopes his wild style will overwhelm Tommy.
I truly believe KSI would have lost against old ass Fournier if he didn't elbow him. KSI was breathing hard after the first round and Fournier was tagging him in the beginning of the second. Then KSI lands his best shot clean and Fournier doesn't look bothered by it. Then the elbow. Call me crazy but I think Fournier would've pulled it off...
I dare to say if Fournier was younger he would have beat ksi because even old Fournier figured out ksi timing and cracked him he was just too old and too slow to take advantage of the situation that has to hurt because Fournier figured out the puzzle you know how to beat the guy but you can't do it because you not young or in shape enough to do it

Honestly thank you for not having bias in this video it makes it more enjoyable to watch not that I’m trying to invalidate you’re opinions I understand this is your channel and your going to do whatever you want completely understand but your commentary is enjoyable when it’s on the fight hearing what you think could play out and thinking like jj shows you’ve been damn good at commentary and your perspective on fighting honestly I would watch this everyday you posted and maybe I’m just being sensitive because ksi is my favorite TH-camr /boxer because regardless of how wild he use to get it looks like he’s getting his zin because he’s look for shots and following more through he’s definitely the under dawg in this but you can never count JJ out because this is his third time being the under dawg his nerves should settle and if he becomes even more calculated he’ll watch out for Tommy’s upper cut and not come within reach and he had to get good at cutting off the ring to stop his opponents from running and dancing and his angles are gonna confuse tommy because he’s been trained more on the mma style for his knock outs when he throws that haymaker if he see’s it through and stop ducking so hard he’ll knock tommy Dylan or Jake out
Closing the distance has always been suspect with JJ. He loves to gamble by throwing power shots on the way in and putting his head in dangerous positions. The type of stuff that worked with Roy jones etc. There is about 30 secs at the start of the temper fight where he’s picking him apart and jabbing his way in but I think he needs to improve his footwork to get more consistently behind his jab to land his power shots.
The fact you say Roy jones is such a good comparison to how JJ boxes. A lot of energy, throwing shots from weird angles, bouncing around. It’s also a very dangerous style too, high risk but high reward
I also found it hilarious when KSI was saying to Tommy that people always doubted him in boxing and when he started to name his list of oppenants he started stuttering after saying Logan because he knows that all his oppenants after Logan were dogshit, still don't understand how he thought that these level oppenants would prepare him for Jake let alone Tommy.
His ego has gotten so big that he is actually delusional. I'm not a hater but I really hope he gets humbled.

I’ve always said this since the fight was announced, Ksi has a smart team and he always has Vidal as a friend who will tell him what his team will tell him which is he cannot leave himself open in anyways especially his upper body. I always find it funny people dissing tommy saying he doesnt have what it takes to be world champion. The guys a kid. Early 20s and acheived more money wise and publicly than what his dad did at that age or tyson fury. The kid knows what hes doing. I dont think anyone would say tyson could be heavy weight champion of the world at his age??! And his dad never had a shot. Tommy moving in these scenes and making dough, to then go back and maybe become a world champion....who knows??? Might be the best story in recent boxing history in 30/40yrs from now. Hes a good fighter and doesnt get the hype that he deserves. I just hope hes using all these negatives about his boxing ability... which is decent and turns them into a positive. Hes in his early 20s! How many people at that age was doing stuff like this and not partying chasing girls?! I think he is actually one to watch. Hes put his pride down to make money. Tommy hasn't had a very noticeable ameture background he's only had 13 ameture bout's and when you look at most up and coming prospects they have 3x or 4x more than that most professionals have very good ameture pedigrees like winning national titles and Olympic gold medals most fighter's with good ameture backgrounds go on to become successful at a professional level

The way I see it, JJ isn't winning this one. Beginners make quick progress which lessens each year thereafter. It makes it look as if things are moving at the same pace but well, Tommy has been boxing for 18 or so years? That's a lot of technique, timing, and IQ that JJ will miss as he bulldozes in as usual. I just don't see JJ winning but I'd love to be wrong.
