He performed a great ushiro geri jumping. If only he kicked his palm prior to that it would have been a perfect Unsu jump.

Without an actual attacker, the kick to the palm is simply to demonstrate the block of uke's attack with the right instep. Watch as he performs it with the attacker to see the block.
