You came up in my feed today, and I thought I'd give you a try. I couldn't pick between pile two and pile three. And I cried all the way through pile two. for real. I failed to appreciate how detached from my emotions I am. I think I know what I'm feeling, but it's so controlled. It's so avoidant. I almost prefer just having the bad things happen because I already expect it. That kind of energy only grows and replicates itself. I think my heart has been numb for so long that I don't even know how to tell if it's working. I'll be doing yoga, and they commonly ask "how are you feeling?" I don't know is always the answer. So, the crying was necessary. The locks on the doors need opening. Pride should fall away. And pile three? It just made me feel a little hope for all this hard, painful, complicated work. Thank you.
