I’m watching this while I’m cleaning my kitchen. I like things neat and orderly too. I declutter about every 3-4 months. My daughter is coming to visit in August and she is going to help me go through all my various holiday decor, and she is going to help me redecorate my sunroom. I hate holding on to things that you really have no need for. If you have a cluttered house it is a lot harder to keep clean. Also, an uncluttered home is so much more relaxing and enjoyable

I have made it my monthly/yearly task to declutter items in our home. I divided our house in 10 areas. So from January to October I declutter and deep clean 1 area per month. I refrain from this task during holiday season. This plan works, so far 😉. I have a daily and weekly cleaning schedule and allow for flexibility, due to my work schedule. So all in all I get things covered and easy my mind.
You should do a built-in closet where your bench is. Like have swing-open doors with drawers and handings. I've always wanted one of those but don't have any room! Nice video! :)
I just got done doing this in my whole house. Took it day by day and it took me about 4 days. The garage was my biggest space to declutter and it looks and feels so much better!
Loved the decluttering as I continue to do that at my place too. I also have to tackle the closet, which holds everything as I only have one closet in my tiny apartment.

The room I need to declutter is our garage! We moved in our home in November after getting married a few months before. Between getting the house set up and combining our lives, we made the garage our storage room so we wouldn't have to continue to pay for storage. I am a teacher so my summer will be spent clearing the garage, one bin at a time. Put away, throw away, give away.
We just packed away most of our house in preparation for a move, but it’s allllll in the garage so now I have to go declutter that. To make matters even more interesting, we’re moving into a tiny house with soon-to-be 5 kids, so we need to be *really* minimalist!
You have so much energy & yet you’re pregnant; that’s awesome. Everything looks nice, neat & declutter. I’m slowly working towards that goal, I work outside the home & don’t have much energy when I get home, but I’m getting it done. You are inspiring.

We moved in our house (4yrs this Nov) after having foot surgery in July so a lot of things just got poked in there and I've purged a lot of my clothes but still need to tackle the shelves and clutter in floor. It's a real large closet and a real large mess!
That white desk looked well made and was so pretty and feminine - was hoping you'd keep it in case you had a baby girl. But it does feel good to get items out that are cluttering up one's space. Take care!

I really suck at paperwork filing - I have a 4 drawer filing cabinet (I de-cluttered one drawer...lol) but I tend to make a pile of paperwork and it just grows and becomes so overwhelming :(

It's more shallow than the 2 closets because the fireplace is on the other side of the deep wall.

You could do a tape accent wall where you tape your pattern and paint over then when dry just take off tape and you have your pattern
