I beg to differ with your rising fast interpretation. Born Singer was released July 11, 2013, basically a month after their debut. They had just completed their training period during which they released sufficient internet content to gain recognition. Much of that was negative whether derogatory comments from the rap underground or efforts by fans and the management company of a fairly recently introduced rapidly ascending 3 letter male group to not let BTS be accepted. This song is members gathering to explain their journey at that point and how their commitment and hard work would allow their talents to be rewarded. It is an unofficial release which expresses the transition from trainee to Idol. Note the inward facing circle. They are sharing their emotions with each other. At the end they turn outwardly to bring ARMY in. Now they are pros. Their experiences are ours too.
The high note ad libs at the end of the song were done by Jungkook. If you react to their Japanese song, Your Eyes Tell, you will hear that all 4 of the vocalists can hit those high notes, even V, with his deep voice can go up that high. The chorus always gives me goose bumps, but so do the rappers. Suga, RM, and J-Hope poured their hearts and souls into those verses and you can hear, see, and feel it. They did a 2nd live performance of this song a few years later, but they started facing outward and turned inward towards the end of the song. They also did a 3rd live performance earlier this year, when they were in Las Vegas. For that one, they were just sitting down, singing, but it sounds just as fantastic as the other two. When J-Hope went to perform at Hobipalooza, he and Jimin actually got to meet J Cole. He is one of J-Hope's biggest inspirations, so you know they were over the moon for that experience.
BTS’ success wasn’t sudden. They’ve been a group for almost 10 years now. Early in their careers they faced quite a bit of push back. That’s not to say they were universally hated, they gained a bit of attention from international people and from what I’ve heard they were seen as sort of endearing underdogs in Korea. But still, they were hated by certain groups in Korea. In 2013-2015 they were doing okay numbers (as well as winning a few new artists/rookie awards is Korea), but Yoongi once said that they weren’t as high as their expectations. The release of ‘The Most Beautiful Moment in Life’ in 2015 gained them a lot more attention, but it wasn’t until 2016 with the release of ‘Wings’ that they won their first grand prize at an Asian Award Show. 2017, and the ‘Love Yourself’ series as a whole, is when they really started gaining attention in the West. They had a lot more (and a lot more successful) collabs with Western Artists and Western Media started to know who they were. They also won Top Social Artist at the BBMAs. This continued through 2018 with them winning a few Western Awards and having collabs with Western Artists. In 2019 they first won Top Duo/Group at the AMAs and BBMAs (I’m pretty sure), as well as took home all the grand prizes at the MMAs and MAMAs (the two biggest music award shows in Korea). In 2020, with the release of Dynamite, while they were already big, they got BIG big. And through 2021, and now 2022, they have continued to grow. Overnight success or a sudden raise in popularity is usually marked by the unexpected success of one particular album or year in an artists career. And while BTS’ success my seem unexpected to some, it certainly wasn’t because of one album or happening in one year. Every album, every year of their career, has brought them something different, something new, has brought them more success. If that isn’t gradual growth, I don’t know what is. And if you want to make the comparison with stages, just look at the Grammy’s. In 2019 they were invited to the Grammys, but not to perform. In 2020, they were invited and performed, but only as part of a collab stage with many other artists. In 2021, they performed their own song on their own stage, but only had enough air time for an abridged version. This year was the first year where they were actually allowed to perform their whole song and they still didn’t win. And all of that is without getting into the controversy surrounding the Grammys and BTS.
Yes. Their comment about rising fast confused me. ARMY know how much hard work and time BTS put to get to the status they now have. Rising fast is the last thing I would think about.
I was at this concert. it was insane how surreal it felt. Idk if you were watching the same video, i think you were, but the boys were actually crying during this song toward the end when having the audience sing n things. Man I don't think there was a single pair of dry eyes in the concert hall by the end of this song. It was such an amazing experience. So happy you reacted to this song and loved it. -- the ending high notes were actually Jungkook!
Thanks for telling us about your experience. I always wondered what it was like to be there when they sang this song. It is what made me ARMY for life.
Amazing! Thank you for being there for the boys at the start!! You early fans are why they are where they are today!! 💜 I'm a Butter ARMY, & former Korean linguist, so I want to kick myself for not finding them earlier!! But, I saw them in LA & LV, it was almost a spiritual experience. ARMY is like a good cult, almost, you don't really believe the hype; but then you fall down the rabbit hole & you're a ride-or-die ARMY defending & praising these lovely 7 Korean men with your whole chest!! 😍💜

Hi, hope you're okay💜Don't worry about that guys, the most important thing is that you enjoy it, it's a very emotional song for everyone and I think it's the perfect song to start the album. Greetings from Paraguay🥰
I beg to differ at the bit where you say their rise skyrocketed. One because this song was released way back in their debut days. And even if it was released now, their growth is the most steady, organic growth I have seen among artists, and especially groups. My interpretation of the line always was a statement they made that showed their confidence in their skills. And although they were technically no where close to a big group back then, their debut in itself was a testament to what they were capable of. It makes even more sense since their debut was a 'real' opinion. A sentiment in hip hop that makes your work a lot more 'successful' and gutsy than being successful in the generic terms (money and following).
I completely agree. They were not an “overnight sensation” where they sky rocketed. It was hard work and dedication, day in and day out. They worked hard for years and years and slowly and steadily rose to where they are now. It was a journey that ARMYs assisted them on and the reason why they have a huge fan base is not because they are overnight sensations but because we have gone on this journey with them. Just saying 😅😊
Our apologies for the confusion on this! We were looking at it from an independent artists perspective in that moment and not from the perspective of KPop. Bands we listen to sold nowhere near 0.06 million copies of their album on their debut album year. In fact most of them take several albums over the course of many years to even get signed to a label in the first place. But the Metal music scene is a whole different industry. The Korean music industry has very different sales numbers and time tables of success so looking at everything through that lens is definitely a different beast 🥰💜 as we have learned and continue to learn in our journey💜 These men have worked very hard for many years for the success that they have🥰 BORAHAE!!!! 💜💜💜💜🦖
@@septasoareousrex thanks for replying! No need for apologies. Not everything can be seen from the same lens and their is beauty in that too. Because knowing their full history is as much work as taking a PhD in some historical topic😂 Nonetheless, am glad you are actively reading and acknowledging messages🤗💜
Isn't this song pretty....The harmonizing is so angelic and JK does the high notes and the complete vocalline shines. Also...this song made me fall in love with the rapline and my favorite part is Yoongi's part. This song always gives me goosebumps and makes me feel so proud of them. I loved your reaction and I loved that you praised the crew too!! Their staff takes such good care of them! I also wanted to say that you are my weekly sundayevening Happy pill and I really want to thank you for that! Just like BTS is making my life better you two also contribute to improving my life. Big hugggg💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
It’s SO PRETTY!!! 💜💜💜 they did such an amazing job😭💜 JK killed it with those high notes and we can understand why you loved Yoongi’s part so much. He did a great job! 🥹💜 AWE!!! Rosita!!! You are so kind and so amazing always! We are so flattered that we can be your Sunday Happy Pill🥰💜 just know that reading your comments every Sunday also makes our day🥹🥰💜🥹💜 Thank you for always being here for us! We appreciate you!!!! BORAHAE!!! 💜💜💜💜 sending you love and HUUUUGS💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🦖😄🥹
They definitely rose from the bottom. They have been backup dancers for other artists. They performed whenever and wherever they could as they were growing. They were fill ins for other artists. Even Hobi was a replacement for someone else when he headlined Lollapalooza 2022 in Chicago this year.
I don't know how many times I've heard this song, but everytime I see this life, their faces and eyes...and how Hobi's voice cracked because of his emotion, goosebumps goosebumps goosebumps still
8:20 YES! I had goosebumps as well hearing this song, especially live. It‘s Jungkook‘s ad-libs at the end. I love his ad-libs and the harmonies in the song. This song is very special for BTS and for ARMY. It‘s also in their anthology album Proof.
Hi guys. This song was a remark o J. Coles Born Sinner. He is on of RMs major influences. This was back as Rookies who finally made it. They sang this in 2017 I believe. It’s their story and yes, they switched off but Jung Kook sang ad libs. I love it all and still get goose bumps. Period. RM wrote it and his part is so passionate.
My favorite part about this song is how RM changes up and updates the lyrics for each live performance they did. At first it just reflected the time gone by (ten days, five years, ten years). And he changed the lyrics from let the “haters hate on me” to “let the lovers love on me” in the most recent live performance. It’s incredible to see the maturity and perspective they all have in this journey but I personally love that about RM’s verses.
When I first heard of this song I fell in love with the rapline and confirmed that these men are awesome when it comes to rapping. Then followed by the angelic voices of the vocalist. BTS is definitely not your typical boy band. Hit them with any music genres and they will give 100% satisfaction. Thank you for your reaction, it really is one of their amazing songs. 💜😊
This is a very special song for BTS and for us ARMY. They sing it with so much passion. They have changed the lyrics a little bit as they´re growing and getting more experiences. Love it. This is a statement. They are born singers. Made for the stage, made to sing and perform and write and produce. The original song is fantastic but I love this.
My favorite part in this song is Yoongi's. His lyrics are just so raw and emotional, it hits me every time. Other people have commented that their climb to success was not done overnight. I highly recommend that you watch "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS (2022 Update!)" by Rice Squad. It summarizes their whole career from beginning to early 2022. You'll see how gradual their progress was as a band, from the size of their concert venues, their sales numbers, their chart performance for their albums and title tracks. I'm sad that this documentary is not recommended as often as some of the others, though I can see why. The one from xCeleste is concise and shows you why BTS is special. The one from Taylor introduces the members very well, including their personalities. The Rise of Bangtan is very detailed. But I think this one from Rice Squad is important too. It shows you they kept working towards their goals and never gave up. They create music that's a little bit better than the one before, improving all the time.
Born singer is such a meaningful song to both BTS and army. BTS release this song for free on SoundCloud as gift sampling from Born Sinner by J Cole when they turn 1 month since debut. After few years they open their anthology album with this song as a successful biggest band and Act finally into Spotify clearing sample. This song make me feel so proud of them. And if you compare their previous Born Singer in SoundCloud and current one you will be amazed how their vocal is more improve. Their songs like Born Singer, Sea, Path, Moving on just hit different. It's very personal songs. I hope you reach till their. BTS discography is so diverse and beautiful. Both their spotify, SoundCloud, korean, Japanese discography just scream perfection without exaggeration
i actually partly found out about them through this song.. technically from j cole because i heard j coles version of this song ‘born sinner’ and then bts’ version and got interested and i’ve been a fan sense 🤷♀️
This is definitely a goosies-inducing song and very personal and emotional for the boys! It’s hard not to tear up by the end. Thanks for reacting to it and hope you guys are doing well!💜
Oh, Soare you NAILED the sentiment behind them facing inwards at the beginning and then turning out to ARMYs... Just hearing you realize and acknowledge that symbolism almost made me cry.... It's so rare I see a BTS reaction where the reactors truly GET and APPRECIATE a moment that is this meaningful.... THANK YOU FOR THE FEELS (p.s. to your question, it was JK singing those high note ad-libs at the end of the song) BTS released this song for free on SoundCloud because it's a cover/re-write of J Cole's "Born Sinner" (and they had zero money for rights way back in 2013 LOL); but because the song means *so much* to BTS they bought the rights so they could make it the first track of the PROOF anthology album
AWE!!! Amy you are amazing and so sweet!!! 💜🥹 we are so glad you enjoyed the video! 💜💜💜💜 Thank you for filling us in! We appreciate you!!! BORAHAE!!!! 💜💜💜💜🦖
Loved the reaction. I had goosebumps in the end too. 😊 When they released the Proof tracklist for the first time, we were all happy to see Born Singer included. Will watch again later in the morning. 💜
bts is always better live that´s why all army want to go to their concerts. also because of the army's energy and singing along. it´s like being part of history and magic i don't even know how to describe it
If you're an ARMY and if you don't feel like your heart is about to cry after listening to this song then there's something wrong with you....PERIOD!!!
Born Singer is such a special song for Bangtan and army. The song has 3 versions (they changed a little bit the lyrics in these ones) but all have basically the same meaning. BTS grow may seem sudden for the ones that didn't know them before but for the ones that have spent years in this fandom.. their grow was really organic and they are that big now because their songs are great, they are just amazing performance and so many people relate with their messages. 💜 The times they performed this song was so emotional! there wasn't a single dry eye.. If they perform Born Singer again (like in a concert) Idk if the feelings will be the same but it would be pretty emotional for sure, in fact, I think I would cry lmao
I honestly love this song. They did a live version for the relese of the proof album and the video is called Proof live where they sand fot youth, yet to come and born singer. There is even more of a church vibe in that love version that I think you'd love to hear even in your own time so you don't have to record your reaction (would love to see it tho). And my fav part is RM's. I don't have any perticular reason why but I just love his flow.
It would be great to see their reaction to the 2022 update of, "Born Singer." Watching the two renditions back-to-back really gives you a feeling for how much BTS has grown & evolved, but also shows just how emotionally mature their songwriting could be from the very beginning.
They performed this again more recently for their "Proof Live" - just sitting in the desert singing and rapping with a backup band and some backup singers too. I think the album lyrics were updated to the ones at this more recent live, whereas the ones from the live you watched may have had slightly different lyrics (I think in RM's part). Anyway, it is a really touching, beautiful song. Thank you for the reaction.
Really enjoy you two! Thanks for the focus on this song. Appreciated your comments and obvious enjoyment of their work. I don't know if I agree with the meteoric rise, they've been hustling for over a decade. And love how your dog is just a part of it all.
I love this version. I couldn’t tell if if this was a compilation version but their early live of this is so full of pain and commitment. I love the Proof live version is also beautiful but I thought that was nostalgic more than the raw emotion from their earlier live. I’m so glad Proof included this song. 💜
l love this song so much, and I'm really happy that they can put it on Proof album, finally. But these live performance is at another level, a high emotional level. I also love their last live perf in Proof Live. It's no more the same raw emotion, years have passed, it's more reminiscence and nostalgia, but the church vibes gave me goospumps and the verses touch me again...Thi song mean so much to them, and to us.
Check out the version from this year - Proof live. It's the same song, but almost a decade later, singing from strength, reflecting back on who they were. And like Suga says, he's still rapperman. This one does make me cry. They're singing from the soul.
Great video and thankyou to Tina. I was laughing at Septa at the end because she was adorable and cute with her itchy nose lol. Love both of you. Stay Happy and Healthy. HuGGieS
Thank you Tina! 💜 Yea watching this always makes me tear up. It’s a meaningful song. We were SO happy when they said it’d be released. 1st was perfect for it. Love you guys and your vids! Take care 💜
In my journey of discovering BTS,I came across this song only when I saw the Rise of Bangtan episode that featured it,and I cried my eyes out. Then,I searched the live performance and cried again 😂. Afterwards I saw them performing it in that Las Vegas Proof mini-performance they gave and I got goosebumps and emotional again, even though by this time,at least I got this impression that perhaps the song does not carry anymore the same emotional weight as it did when they first performed it...I mean, don't get me wrong. I'm sure the song is very important to them still, but after so many years have passed and the things they've experienced/lived have changed them...and I feel like this song has a more nostalgic feel now for them. Old hurts don't feel the same as years pass by. Hopefully I got to express my thoughts well since english is not my main language. My fave parts are Suga's rap lines and JK's ad libs (he is the king of ad libs) and the way they just performed this song in general, first facing inwards and then facing outwards towards the future and together with Armys...I dunno...it's such a symbolic and perfect performance for this song.
I feel your sense of nostalgia so much whenever watching baby BTS years, which I cherish so much. It's an amazing blessing for fans that BTS's journey has been so well captured in vlogs, performances, variety shows, and docuseries.

Like many in the comments have mentioned BTS fame was anything but quick. They got their first win 2year after debut in 2015. The line about “the people they looked up to are now beneath them” was a bit about how badly the people BTS idolized, their seniors, rather than welcome BTS they treated them badly, made fun of their name, their lack of funds for expensive stage outfits and productions, their lack of sponsorship since they were from a small company. It’s BTS expressing their disappointment that the people who they held so high have now fallen from grace due to their malice and BTS realizing that they don’t need the opinions of such people anyway, these people are beneath their notice and BTS will keep working hard and succeed. It’s their way of sort of consoling themselves that unfortunately for them the phrase “never meet your heroes” came true!!!
Thanks Tina! You gave them a great link! I’m glad you two liked this song so much. It means a lot to ARMY because as you were saying, it like marks a moment in time where they reflect on their journey and the meaning of it all. SUGA actually wrote this (or at least part of it) in 2013 I believe, inspired after J Cole’s Born Sinner was released. So it’s kind of cool to see how the lyrics changed from 2013 to when they performed this 3 years later to when they put it in Proof. And don’t worry, the first time I watched this video, I had goosebumps all over and by the end, I was bawling (JHope’s part with that lyric about not wanting to embarrass the him from the past + ARMY singing with them gives me such feels). I’ll be checking out your Patreon soon, I just gotta save up some cash first, so I’ll be seeing you there too!💜💜
I’m finding it hard to describe my feelings for the song and the performance, but mere words like “lovely” and “soulful” don’t seem to do it justice. To answer your question my favorite parts were the chorus, the rappers’ parts specially Suga’s, and JK’s beautiful high notes and adlibs at the end. So all of it? 😂 Great reaction! 💜
Yay, love you both. So, I’ve loved this song from the first time hearing it but I love it more and more each time I listen to it! I hope you watch the newer 2022 performance of it as well. 🙏🥺🎶💜
They only have life performances for this as it was not an original song, not an album, it's a remake. They put it now on the Proof album as they get the approval from the original writer(J. Cole) and it was such an important one for them, for their beginnings.
they also have a 2022 performance of born singer but it´s best with the audience, but you can hear the maturity and skills has gotten better on the new one
The chorus and everything I think was inspired by j Cole’s born sinner album which came out before the debuted this song so when I first heard it I definitely knew where it originally came from
This song has only been performed a few times. Namjoon has changed part of his lyrics to reflect the changes that have happened in their careers. There are some stage compliations that show them. In any form this song makes the members and army super emotional. I hope you get to check out the other versions as well. And what is this cuteness with fighting a sneeze? I can't lol!
you should watch magic shop live it shows how clean their voices are i mean i dont think i have never seen a bad performance from them. they practise really hard everyday just to perform flawless. i dont know any other band who put so much work into their performance. so i can´t wait til oct 15 for their Busan concert. i hope you will react to it, will be free so i dont think you will get any copyright strikes
Since you like BTS's F U attitude towards haters they have a song called IDOL which at first glance seems and sounds like what a person full of prejudice would expect from "kpop". It's mostly about the artist/idol dilemma, what kind of a perception people (both from inside and outside of their country) have of them etc. There are a lot references in that song so I would suggest you to also see an explanation video made by a south korean afterwards. The song is also the 13th track on Proof.
They didn’t climb fast they were put through 😈 and back. They went through a lot of racism jealousy and just pure ignorance before they rose.Still they have hearts of gold.
Hi ...if you get goosebumps on this song then you should listen to House of Cards next. It's one of my favourite songs by the vocal line. It will blow your mind as its so good. 💜 I love JKs high notes...they always give me goosebumps. 🙂
Thank youuuuuu 💜💜😭😭 We often get comments of people saying they thought we were taking a break because they aren't getting notifications lol we really appreciate it! 🤘😄💜💜
Hellooo! Hope you guys are feeling well🤭This amazing performance makes me feel one emotion everytime I listen to it. Overwhelming pride. Makes me cry almost everytime lol. Suga whispering his name before his rap is amazing lol. Septa's reaction to the harmonies and JK's runs😍 That is officially my favorite word now. gOOsieEs.😂 I love it! Thanks as always for a great reaction, Stay safeee.
Also, I wanted to send you a private chat but youtube doesn't do that anymore. I'm Adventist and for English 1 we had a journal assignment. This is what I wrote for my first entry. Idk if you would look at it lol but yeah. kinda nerve-wracking putting myself out there😵💫 I would appreciate thoughts if you have any...😭I would feel more comfortable sending this privately if you are comfortable with that too

It's from Jcole's born sinner but their song is more heartwarming and raw it almost make you cry because of their struggles and the hate they are experiencing during those days and until now
It is beautiful song, and soo old, they wrote it in their debiute year, I hope you understand that it is old song that is why it makes it even more emotional, it has so much history behind, and is important for fans, it was free song on soundcluod gift from them to fans after debiute, it was 9 years ago ahh... And if you going with Proof album then most songs are old, so I hope you will look up year a song is from when you react, I think it makes difference when you know when it come out. But it is my opinion, maybe you don't want to know and listen with fresh ear and without much knowlage, then look after hehe. Hmm there is live from this year, they did live performance, in june? This live you watched is like from 2015? Or 2017 one? I don't know bc I couldn't really see ;) There are two old lives of this song, one when they are spinning and face inside and are looking at themself singing this words, and at last part they look audience, and second live when they start with looking at audience and then at the end when fans sing with them they look at themself, face inside circle. (I don't know wich you watched). It is so cool if you think about it bc they sing "I'm born Singer it us maybe early confesion...." and first time they performed it they looked at themself like telling themself they are singers and then at songs end they are looking at people and singing to them they they are "born singers" and fans are singing back at them. And next time they performed it two years later they started with looking at fans, telling them story and that they are born singers, and at the and they looked at themself like saying to earch other this 'we are born to do this'. When you think of it its so cool. And like You said there were words behind on screens, on another performance were old pictures of them to show story they are talking about. New live is cool is from "Proof" live, they did it live when they were in america, give us in june as part of Proof promotion, they performed Born Singer, Yet to come and For Youth. Ah it nice to hear this song live now after so many years, and RM changes his lyrics every performance. Nice 🥺 High note was JK ;) I don't know if it is was that fast hmm it is true that it is slower in rock/metal "world" so it May sems faster, but bc kpop works different, like promotion aspect, media, TV aspect, votes etc, and it is more faster industry in general, and focused on media more, bc they put a lot of time and money in trainig youngsters, so debiute and after it is fast peaced, it is simple how this works, usually if you don't make name for yourself in first year you may don't have next time, if you look at it from kpop industry perspective 3 year of training and 2 years to first win on TV, it is not fast. And BTS wasn't that big in this first 2 years, RM told that before "I need u" become such hit they were sure it would be their last album, bc they didn't earn money, co any didn't have money to produced next album. When you think of it like that, it was hard. And it us true that normally band work different they make CD then promote it go support a support, etc, do it for year or so and then maybe try to make new music and try get better concerts spots, but in kpop you have to give music if you stop you are not there, BTS was making two albums every year. So it is fast hard work. They played live for tv stations then they would have like 200 fans, and when they gotmore popular their concerts were mostly 1000/2000 people for few years, then 5000, then are nas but it was like in 2016/17, few stadium later on too. Now they make numbers.... But it is different style if you compare to more typical path bands take, but difference lays in typ of industry and culture a little too. So I would say it wasn't fast they had very healty grow, like when you look at numbers etc they didn't have jump like you said, they grew very organic, I'm sure if there would be a graph it would have even growth for years and fans, maybe after 2018 they would have more grow (more people in shorter time) bc they took America by storm but thats all.
I kind of don't agree with you saying they skyrocketed yo success or something cuz they had their journey was far from that they started small and had their share of ups and downs and now they are where they bcuz they consistent, hardworking and they never gave up. I won't call 10 yrs of hardwork 'skyrocketing' not including their trainee yrs. So yeah that's just what I think anyways loved the video 😊
Just remember we are looking at it from an independent artists perspective. Bands like The Architects formed in 2004 and didn’t even get signed to a label until 2013. They released 5 albums before signing to a company. No nominations for any awards until after getting signed to a record label. BTS started in a company and after 3 years of very hard work they debuted in 2013 and also won their first award. It is apples to oranges considering how different the Korean Music Industry is to other music industries. But the time tables to success are very different. That’s all we were pointing out. And they have faced many challenges and work very hard💜 as we have seen in the introduction and continue to see in ROB 🥰💜
This song is so meaningful to BTS and Army and I LOVE this song! I legit tear up when I heard this song for the first time!! So glad they put this on their album its a perfect song to open up their PROOF album! P.S. JK is the King of ad lib and harmonizing!!!
Hi I wanted to request! Can you react to Korean Rock Band called Xdinary Heroes! 😃 They're under the same company with Stray kids . I can definitely promise you gonna loves this Krock band 😃 I recommend you react to their latest song from Hello world album ( Test me , Knock Down , Sucker Punch , Strawberry Cake and Pirates) they also did a cover song to ( Impossible by Nothing but thieves) and Drown by Bring me Horizon ! Lastly it's their debut song called ( happy death day ) one of my fav as well hopefully you could check out all these suggestions from me.. I swear you gonna love it 100% for this since Rocks is your Vibes ❤️
They've been doing this for 10+ years now. So their success is not sudden. It took a lot for them to get to were they are now so when you say that it was fast, you make it seem like they cheated their way up which is something I don't agree. Also, this is one of their older songs too.

Not sure if we watched the same videos together “rise of bangtan” or the logic cus their career didnt “skyrocketed” I’m not sure if you pay attention. I took years. Years. They give out flyers out in street even few years after debut definitely no “sky rocketed” their company was still almost bankrupt and so many of their songs like “RUN” MV they dont even have enough money to hire actors so they use their own staff members and years after debuting. So no “sky rocketing” sorry if this comment seem rude I try not to be but you got everything wrong.
We definitely understand what you are saying💜 we know their careers took years and insane amounts of work💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Thank you for being here!!! BORAHAE!! 💜💜💜🦖
BTS' Vocal line is really top tier. And their Rap line is next to none. They are truly the best out there.
They rose faster than any other group in the entire world even one direction doesn't have this kinda impact
Yes- slow and steady, and then "BIG big"😂
This is the comment every ARMY wanted to write. 💜💜
OMG I'm so jealous 💜 I can't imagine how it feels. I wish I was an ARMY back then. Thank you for sharing your experience with us
OMG one of the OG ARMY! Borahae!
Amazing! Thank you for being there for the boys at the start!! You early fans are why they are where they are today!! 💜
I'm a Butter ARMY, & former Korean linguist, so I want to kick myself for not finding them earlier!! 😍💜
This performance is powerful through the screen, can't imagine how utterly more emotional to be there in the audience. 💜
NOTE: This video kept getting blocked to the point where NOBODY would be able to view it. In order to post it, we had to change the opacity to where it's not very easy to see. Please remember you can follow the link to watch the original video OR sub to our Patreon for a version without the opacity change. We hope you understand!
Hi, hope you're okay💜Don't worry about that guys, the most important thing is that you enjoy it, it's a very emotional song for everyone and I think it's the perfect song to start the album. Greetings from Paraguay🥰
@@leticiagonzalez3056 Thank you for joining us for the premiere! 💜 Thank you!! It is so beautiful!!!!!💜💜💜 Sending our love to you in Paraguay💜💜🥰🥰🦖
It's perfectly okay. We've all watched this performance so many times. We're here for your reaction anyway 😄
We've watched this video lots. It's ok that we didn't see it on screen.
Understandable 😌 Love this song so much. It makes me happy that you guys reacted to it 🤗💜
I beg to differ at the bit where you say their rise skyrocketed.
The Korean music industry has very different sales numbers and time tables of success so looking at everything through that lens is definitely a different beast 🥰💜 as we have learned and continue to learn in our journey💜 These men have worked very hard for many years for the success that they have🥰
BORAHAE!!!!
AWE!!! Rosita!!! You are so kind and so amazing always! We are so flattered that we can be your Sunday Happy Pill🥰💜 just know that reading your comments every Sunday also makes our day🥹🥰💜🥹💜
Thank you for always being here for us! We appreciate you!!!! BORAHAE!!! 💜💜💜💜 sending you love and HUUUUGS💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🦖😄🥹
They definitely rose from the bottom. They have been backup dancers for other artists. They performed whenever and wherever they could as they were
growing.
We love it!!! He is such a smart man💜🦖
Jungkook with the high notes I love it I can hear his high notes all day.
Love how you both started grooving at the same time. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
They have such raw emotions on this it’s just beautiful and authentic. I get goosebumps too.
There are 3 versions of Born Singer. During the stages of the Boys Career the lyrics changes. Hope you could react to all versions
That could be very fun!!! 🥰💜🥰💜😄
Actually only some of RM verse changes, mostly to reflect the moment they are, when performing this.
UP FOR THIS. Please react to this too. I've watched this so many times and it still amazes me how far they've come.
I don't recommend that one because it really spoils every song and MV for new reactors.
Thanks for reacting to it and hope you guys are doing well!💜
I love Burn Singer.
I get goosebumps and cry when I hear it.
These guys are all terrific.
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
This one is soooooo gooooood!!!!! Really came out of nowhere and just amazed us😭💜😭💜🥹💜💜💜💜💜🦖
Oh, Soare you NAILED the sentiment behind them facing inwards at the beginning and then turning out to ARMYs... Just hearing you realize and acknowledge that symbolism almost made me cry.... It's so rare I see a BTS reaction where the reactors truly GET and APPRECIATE a moment that is this meaningful.... THANK YOU FOR THE FEELS (p.s. to your question, it was JK singing those high note ad-libs at the end of the song)
BTS released this song for free on SoundCloud because it's a cover/re-write of J Cole's "Born Sinner" (and they had zero money for rights way back in 2013 LOL); but because the song means *so much* to BTS they bought the rights so they could make it the first track of the PROOF anthology album
AWE!!! Amy you are amazing and so sweet!!! 💜🥹 we are so glad you enjoyed the video! 💜💜💜💜
Thank you for filling us in! We appreciate you!!! BORAHAE!!!! 💜💜💜💜🦖
Loved the reaction. I had goosebumps in the end too. 😊 When they released the Proof tracklist for the first time, we were all happy to see Born Singer included. Will watch again later in the morning. 💜
same, just mad they actually bleeped namjoon's "fxxkn real" out xD
I have to say I’m very obsessed w/ your song intro it’s sooooo addicting ✨
Yeeeeees!!! Perfect😉🦖🥳🎉💜❤️ That was the goal!!! 💜💜💜🎉🥳🦖
bts is always better live that´s why all army want to go to their concerts. also because of the army's energy and singing along. it´s like being part of history and magic i don't even know how to describe it
If you're an ARMY and if you don't feel like your heart is about to cry after listening to this song then there's something wrong with you....PERIOD!!!
Thanks!
The times they performed this song was so emotional! there wasn't a single dry eye.. If they perform Born Singer again (like in a concert) Idk if the feelings will be the same but it would be pretty emotional for sure, in fact, I think I would cry lmao
Their fame actually wasn’t very fast at all. They suffered a lot. And there were years of just training.
Goosebumps every time when I hear this song. Loved your reaction guys.
Thanks for the reaction! 💜
There is a newer version from "Proof live"
Thank you!!!! We loved it so much 😭💜
It would be great to see their reaction to the 2022 update of, "Born Singer."
Watching the two renditions back-to-back really gives you a feeling for how much BTS has grown & evolved, but also shows just how emotionally mature their songwriting could be from the very beginning.
They did climb their way to the top… their journey was not quick and easy. They worked VERY VERY HARD!!!
The hi notes and Harmony was JK
They performed this again more recently for their "Proof Live" - just sitting in the desert singing and rapping with a backup band and some backup singers too. I think the album lyrics were updated to the ones at this more recent live, whereas the ones from the live you watched may have had slightly different lyrics (I think in RM's part). Anyway, it is a really touching, beautiful song. Thank you for the reaction.
Really enjoy you two! Thanks for the focus on this song. Appreciated your comments and obvious enjoyment
of their work. I don't know if I agree with the meteoric rise, they've been hustling for over a decade. And love how your dog is just a part of it all.
How is the live more beautiful than the studio better💜
There's something special bout their live performances. you should check a lot of them its very touching
Thanks Tina 😘💜💜
💜💜💜
Check out the version from this year - Proof live. It's the same song, but almost a decade later, singing from strength, reflecting back on who they were. And like Suga says, he's still rapperman.
This one does make me cry. They're singing from the soul.
Great video and thankyou to Tina. I was laughing at Septa at the end because she was adorable and cute with her itchy nose lol. Love both of you. Stay Happy and Healthy. HuGGieS
💜💜💜
Yay!!!! So glad you enjoyed!!! 💜💜💜🥳🎉🥰 Sending you our love and HUUUUGS🫂🥰💜 BORAHAE Xtria!!! 💜💜💜💜💜❤️🥰🦖
Thank u Tina and you too guys, you all amazing people 💜😊😊
Thank you for being amazing as well!!! 💜💜💜💜🦖😄
💜💜💜
This is one of my favorite live performances!
Thank you Tina! 💜 Yea watching this always makes me tear up. It’s a meaningful song. We were SO happy when they said it’d be released. 1st was perfect for it. Love you guys and your vids! Take care 💜
💜💜💜
We are so glad you enjoyed!! Sending you our love!!!! 💜💜💜💜💜
BORAHAE Bright-eyed!!!! 💜💜💜💜🦖

Love your reactions as always 💜
thanx Tina
💜💜🦖
💜💜💜
I’ll be checking out your Patreon soon, I just gotta save up some cash first, so I’ll be seeing you there too!💜💜
💜💜💜
We are so glad you enjoyed it!!! Such a beautiful song 🥹🥰💜
AWE!!! We appreciate you so much!!😭💜😭💜😭💜😭💜😭💜💜💜💜
BORAHAE!!! 💜💜💜💜🦖
Great reaction! 💜
Bts estuvo diez años trabajando para su éxito total no fue de un día para otro y con el respaldo de ARMY
Jungkook 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😍
JK DID SO GOOOOOOD!!!!! 💜💜💜💜
they also have a 2022 performance of born singer but it´s best with the audience, but you can hear the maturity and skills has gotten better on the new one
The chorus and everything I think was inspired by j Cole’s born sinner album which came out before the debuted this song so when I first heard it I definitely knew where it originally came from
One of my favorite BTS songs
We can see why!!! 💜💜🦖
Hi new sub from Philippines! Keep em coming
We will continue to do our best for you ❤️🥰💜😄 so glad you enjoy the videos!!! 🥰❤️💜🦖
Aaww… looks like you guys are full army now! 💜
These two are very genuine, really. They would say if they don't like a song much. Unlike the others who keeps on shouting and faking enthusiasm.
You are always the nicest guys! I like you so much!
You should also watch the live performance of Born Singer, Yet to Come and For Youth, it was amazing
you should watch magic shop live it shows how clean their voices are i mean i dont think i have never seen a bad performance from them. they practise really hard everyday just to perform flawless. i dont know any other band who put so much work into their performance. so i can´t wait til oct 15 for their Busan concert. i hope you will react to it, will be free so i dont think you will get any copyright strikes
Have you watched j-hope's lollapalooza set? It was crazyy
We have plans for this one!!!! 💜💜💜😉
ARMYS
( Rush Hour by Crush ft. J-hope of BTS )
will be dropping this Thursday 6pmKST
SPREAD THE WORD
Since you like BTS's F U attitude towards haters they have a song called IDOL which at first glance seems and sounds like what a person full of prejudice would expect from "kpop". It's mostly about the artist/idol dilemma, what kind of a perception people (both from inside and outside of their country) have of them etc. There are a lot references in that song so I would suggest you to also see an explanation video made by a south korean afterwards. The song is also the 13th track on Proof.
🥺🙌💜
*TURNS INTO VACUUM i cant..😂😂😂
They didn’t climb fast they were put through 😈 and back. They went through a lot of racism jealousy and just pure ignorance before they rose.Still they have hearts of gold.
Hi ...if you get goosebumps on this song then you should listen to House of Cards next. It's one of my favourite songs by the vocal line. It will blow your mind as its so good. 💜 I love JKs high notes...they always give me goosebumps. 🙂
Leaving 💜💜💜 for the TH-cam algo, sometimes it messes up and doesn't send notifs. Lol.
Thank youuuuuu 💜💜😭😭 We often get comments of people saying they thought we were taking a break because they aren't getting notifications lol we really appreciate it! 🤘😄💜💜
Pls react to their 'Proof' live where they sang 'Born Singer' live with 2 of their new songs.Their vocals are just insane
Idk if you would look at it lol but yeah. kinda nerve-wracking putting myself out there😵💫 I would appreciate thoughts if you have any...😭I would feel more comfortable sending this privately if you are comfortable with that too
Helloooooo!!! We are wonderful today🥰💜 we hope you are amazing as well! 💜🎉 We are so glad you enjoyed the gOOsieES!!!! 🤣😂🥰💜
Of course you can! Our email is SeptaSOAREousRex@gmail.com
Feel free to send it to us there💜🥰
Thank you for being amazing💜🥰 stay safe!!! BORAHAE!!! 💜💜💜💜🦖
I'd also like to ask, off topic, where did you get that clock behind you on the wall? I love it. I think it's a clock anyway....
It’s a Kingdom hearts vinyl record clock!!!! 😄🥰We got it on amazon. We really enjoy the look of vinyl record clocks and have another one in our kitchen!! So glad you like it!!! 💜🥰🎉🥳🦖
It's from Jcole's born sinner but their song is more heartwarming and raw it almost make you cry because of their struggles and the hate they are experiencing during those days and until now
Reage a lei proof por gentileza , essa live é simplesmente perfeita
💜🇧🇷💜🇧🇷
Please react to Crystal snow bts 💜💜💜
I don't know bc I couldn't really see ;)
There are two old lives of this song, one when they are spinning and face inside and are looking at themself singing this words, and at last part they look audience, and second live when they start with looking at audience and then at the end when fans sing with them they look at themself, face inside circle.
Nice 🥺
High note was JK ;)
I don't know if it is was that fast hmm it is true that it is slower in rock/metal "world" so it May sems faster, but bc kpop works different, like promotion aspect, media, TV aspect, votes etc, and it is more faster industry in general, and focused on media more, bc they put a lot of time and money in trainig youngsters, so debiute and after it is fast peaced, it is simple how this works, usually if you don't make name for yourself in first year you may don't have next time, if you look at it from kpop industry perspective 3 year of training and 2 years to first win on TV, it is not fast.
So I would say it wasn't fast they had very healty grow, like when you look at numbers etc they didn't have jump like you said, they grew very organic, I'm sure if there would be a graph it would have even growth for years and fans, maybe after 2018 they would have more grow (more people in shorter time) bc they took America by storm but thats all.

that last clip 😂
Coldplay - Hypnotized React Please❤💙
It's JK'S who did the high vocals in the last part of the song

Can you please react to every bts mv and dance practice video in released order
They've been doing this for 10+ years now. So their success is not sudden. It took a lot for them to get to were they are now so when you say that it was fast, you make it seem like they cheated their way up which is something I don't agree. Also, this is one of their older songs too.

react to PROOF LIVE at BANGTANTV ,their You tube channel...ir wont be block.
It was Jungkook not jimin
BORAHAE!! 💜💜💜🦖
