For an environment like that, it would have been best for that team to split into a least three elements or into two-person teams. As three elements they could have harassed their targets and saved lives and bullets. It would be slow going but based on how Luten runs their games, I doubt that would be a problem since they do not seem to be indulgent. The three elements could be set up as a support, security and assault elements. I wish I had more disposable income otherwise I would be hosting games. Luten so far runs the most insightful and interesting scenarios that I have seen on youtube.
And as for advice for your guys in dealing with jungle maps, is that maintaining high situational awareness should be highest priority. It should be anyway, but especially for jungle combat. When people relax during combat or let down a sector of coverage, its easily exploited by the ai due to the close range nature of it. Its not hard for an ai to go prone and stay hidden while his buddies get shot to bits and then for him to re-position and strike a team unexpected. Stragglers are the biggest threat because its hard to confirm an entire enemy team was killed when in the jungle. Also, use of explosives and wide expendature of ammo is highly effective. Shoot where you think an AI might be and confirm if anything was there afterward. Dont wait until you see them. Dont let your guard down even for a second, always assume you missed a few when in the jungle. TL:DR, Use lots of grenades and bring/use more ammo than normal, and always assume there are stragglers that survived any engagement.
You know what would be a cool feature, is players you can have join in, that are totally invisible but able to capture footage. So you could have all these different angles on events and edit them together.
What we do is have one guy on the civilian team with one of those combat cameras from the combat camera mod who acts like the news guy, problem is that he always gets blown up

I know there is a command structure as the team launches the mission. But i got the feeling that the chain of command quality went down when the first commander got shot. I dont know if or when he assumed back the command later in the mission but the synergy betwinn Alfa and Bravo dident seem to be there during this mission. It got a bit fragmented there at the end but a few good firefights and laughters. It would be cool to hear some debriefings. Maybe not always but when there is some extrodinary stuff.
Just wanted to say what an excellent job you do with the cinematography in your videos Very professional and entertaining. It put the viewer right in the middle of the action and provides a very realistic view. Thank you for doing this and thank you for sharing.
This reminds me of a training mission I went on with my Reserve unit. Coming from an active infantry unit. I felt just like you. Pure frustration. This is cool though when I get my PC soon I hope to join in on one of these.
For PVEVP I think about the only thing you could do is do a final area with the PVP only. Where the dead get their base and have to hold out to an onslaught from the remains of the previous force.

im guessing those are a bit harder to do because you need a few poeple per tanks to use it most effectively and this would end up only getting around 4-5 tanks working could still be good though. Also If the drivers and shooters are experienced a tank mission could become very boring very quickly never really taking heavy lost unless there is a none-Ai opposition
What would be cool is a spawnpoint that has it's own tickets, like the oint itself can handle 30 spawns then it auto deletes. That would help your base spawn issue.
My rational with the spawn point problem would be, that is where the exit to an secret enemy underground barracks is. Tough luck if it`s now behind them.

You have taught me so much on building my own missions that I run in single player for my friends that do not play pc but u was wondering if there is a place where I can get all the mods you are running? If not anyway way you could maybe add that in your information?
In my opinion the parts they struggled with in the first engagement was they needed to establish a base of fire and have a small team set up support by fire while the rest pushed forward. Fire superiority would have cut the casualties in half. Also, clearing the base through the trenches needed to be done leapfrog style. There was too many times where 2 people were assaulting a bunker and there was nobody covering their approach. Just my two cents. Fun learning experience I guess.
your best bet is getting in on one of his public days but if you want to join you need to catch his eye(carryout the objective, be smart and good with decisions) that's how Callum joined with LT. Impress him and he'll reward you.

This is a custom created mission. The Devs release a new campaign every so often (There are two in arma 3) but they are limited to only a few players with the rest of the friendly forces being AI. I think it's fair to say that the meat of the ArmA experience is Custom missions in multiplayer, with a zeus (Gamemaster) controlling the AI as well as respawns and adding/removing objects and AI in real time.
In this video, they are in a multiplayer server and they are playing Zeus game mode. Zeus game mode is basicly this: one is Zeus(you can see through Zeus perspective in the video) and zeus controls the mission, he has the ability to spawn AI units, control AI units, and other things. Then there are other players(blue dots) who you can see are playing the mission that Zeus controls.
Mingso hang Lawoti - Luetins whole channel was built around this view. Highly unlikely he'll change from it simply because you (a single meaningless person) requested it. His audience, after all, consists of people who enjoy this perspective.

This is basically what I told my guys and it's worked out mostly alright, still having problems with throwing grenades into friendly positions
