Yummy Gajorer Barfi recipe

  • Ingredients:
    3 cups shredded carrot
    3 cups milk
    1 cup sugar
    1 tbsp ghee
    ½ cup mawa
    ½ tsp cardamom
    1 tsp rose water
    1 cup mawa
    1 tbsp sugar
    1 tsp sliced almond
    1 tsp crushed pistachio
    Instructions:
    1. Add shredded carrot and milk in pan and cook for 20-25 minutes on high heat until milk evaporates completely
    2. Continue to stir to prevent burning
    3. Stir in sugar and cook until all liquid evaporates
    4. Add ghee, mawa, cardamom and rose water
    5. Mix well and remove from heat
    6. Using a separate pan, add mawa and sugar and stir until its crumbled
    7. Place gajor in baking glassware and press down then press down the mawa crumbles
    8. Garnish with almond pistachio
    9. Let it chill for 2 hours before serving
    10. Ready to enjoy!
