Guadalupe Peak, Texas State High Point. Day Hike.

My wife and I and a friend hiked to the summit a week ago. It was very windy and cold. It took us awhile to get up and down but we did it. I recently turned 66 and my wife just turned 65. She wanted to do it for her 65th birthday.

I went to this National Park last weekend but because of time constraints, didn't get to do any hikes. Thanks for uploading this cool video!

Some Mathematical Observations:
Hike Length= L = 21,648 arcsin(L/H) = arcsin(.9911) = 82 degrees
Altitude Gain= G = 2,906 arccos(G/H )= arccos(.1342 )= 8 degrees
Hypotenuse of Hike H = 21,843
You have an average incline of 8 degrees. Is this steep or shallow????
