    Excellent video!! Love the sound of the engine too! My dad was retired Navy and he always told me his 2 favorite airplanes the Navy flew while he was in were the Bearcat and Skyraider. Excellent job flying and building your Bearcat!!

    For me, this would represent the absolute pinnacle of the hobby. I have a long way yet to go :)

    Can't say enough. If I didn't see you start it I would have thought it was a full size plane. And of coarse the sound is so real, all models should sound like this. Awesome! I have a few planes but never fly them. I'm still flying on computer with G4 and still crashing even after three years. I guess I just don't have what it takes. I'm sticking to my boats and cars till I get the nerve up.

    Looks great, sounds great and great flying skills. How many years did it take to reach this point? When I get the money I think I'm gonna pick me up a trainer. This looks like a lot of fun and gets you out of house and away from trouble.

    You need to adjust the idle fuel input to the engine, then it would start faster

    When the plane soars up i feel as if i am going with it. That is a great skill you have. The first part of the video reminds me of myself trying to repair a stubborn lawnmower.Do these engines fire on the compression of fuel or do they have a spark plug?

    Incredible plane. The engine seems a bit difficult. I would imagine it requires a lot of maintenance and adjustment. It's not an engine for someone who isn't mechanically adept. What a great sound and I concur that it is the perfect soundtrack to this superb airplane. well done.

    Great profile in the air!! Who's kit/ARF is this?? The Moki 215 has ALWAYS been troublesome for them!! It is really NOT a good engine. But you are correct..... It DOES sound good when it IS running!!

  • @Katana50cc

    Nice flying, but pitiful hand. Any chance that electric starter can be used? What about onboard starter for such a lovely plane?

  • @h76industries
    @h76industries  12 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    So ? I´m just tired of people download my movies and re-upload them on TH-cam in bad quality, my point is good sound and video to show the beautiful sound of Moki. The copy right also makes it faster when filling a complaint to TH-cam staff to remove the stolen video.

    Awesome flight, I sometimes miss nitro....then after the first min or so of your video I remembered why I don't. Beautiful Bearcat. Also copyright kind of ruins the full screen HD. FYI if the copyright is not recorded into the video and is added after the recording, its then just a layer and easily removed by anyone with a little editing knowledge. Just saying for future videos no need to throw an eye sore in there.

  • @dirtcurt1

    It even starts like the full size version! I would prefer to see a bit slower flight speed or throttle setting maybe 20% to make a scale cruise speed. I really like this model.

    When I was a little boy.. I had Cox LC planes and they were always covered in spent fuel... Do you have that some issue with this type of engine ?

    • @Tuffenough4u
      @Tuffenough4u 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Allister2015 This motor doesn't use oil rich glow fuel like a cox engine. It used regular gasoline with a 2 stroke oil mix like a weed eater. However the motor it's self is a 4 stroke design. You can't even compare a moki to a cox other than it burn fuel.

      How did he manage that given that the first combat for the F8F was during the French Indochina War in 1951? World War II was over long before the F8F saw combat service.

    No way change the throttle setting down. Moki engines sound their best at full throttle or at idle. The best way to do that is to change the pitch of the prop so the plane will fly slower at full throttle :)
