IMO, the full game should be on this TH-cam channel.
there's no better promotional vehicle than this already legendary match, specially the 2 first games.
Yep, it was gripping and of course with Joey's superb commentary it was perfect - totally agree: its the Squash promo poster of a match.
It was a masterpiece. We had the pleasure to be on site. What a battle! Best squash i have seen
This match is surely an all-timer, absolutely riveting stuff and unbelievable endurance from both players.
Such a good match between these two! Cant wait to see how Farag gets on in his next match in the final!
Love the match & the commentary! Sensational to watch ❤
Luckily no extended back leg to trip the opponent 😂 what a treat!!!
Farag moving soooo much better, great footwork
If Elias did not missed that second game volley, probably would have won this one. Kudos to Farag! Amazing match.
Yes, second game is crucial for him ! It really hurt that he can’t convert to win the second game by leading 10: 7
In the past, matches featuring legends like Jahangir Khan and Jan Sher Khan often lasted 2.5 to 3 hours, showcasing endurance and strategy. Today, the excitement surrounding 90-minute matches, such as in footbal. While longer matches have their charm and historical significance, the modern game offers a refreshing intensity that resonates with contemporary viewers
I expect the number of lets were ridiculous in comparison vs now. I watched an old one recently, and couldnt believe how poor of a spectacle it was.
We're you wearing a monical and a top hat, sipping tea when you wrote that?
@@adamburton99 tbf I did think it was a bit 1800s haha
@@JohnnyBoy4 well they also played to 15 instead of 11, and drops were harder to play because of the small racquet.
No, under 2 hours in all cases. A handful of matches went beyond that time but not the Khan's matches or the Hunts or the Barringtons.
Wooooow!
you know its over when farag switches on
People will really watch this game and Asal's games and pretend there's no difference
This is the final ! Not the one with Asal

This should be the normal highlights length

Sensational match🎉
These highlights miss two of the best shots I’ve ever seen from Elias, there’s still more. I’m sure they’ll be in the next shot of the month though
Grande Elias!!!

Why no Asal vs Coll highlight??
They cant show what Asal actually do on the court. THEY dont want to expose him
Too much violence for this 12A rated channel 🤭. Actually, I'm not sure if you saw it on Squash TV subscription channel, but my analysis of it is that overall there was a little bit of a drift back by Asal to his old tendencies across the match as a whole: but with one dramatic exception: Asal appeared to take an odd route to a drop shot, that fully swept out both of Coll's legs from under him. In football it would probably have qualified for a yellow card for a dangerous tackle - maybe even red! It appeared a bit shocking to be honest and it left me wondering if Asal had some sort of score to settle with Coll, but I guess it might have been an accident, that just looked intentional from the camera angle. Remarkably Coll was super dignified, and did not complain in the slightest. Clever really, as he left it to the crown and the officials to have the reaction. After that, the crowd and refs were hypersensitive to the tiniest poor movement from Asal: I guess they assumed he'd returned to his old ways.
@@1000000trs You have to ask yourself why games against Asal are always probable to veer into controversial territory, when matches involving Gawad, Coll, Elias, Hesham, Makin, Soliman, Crouin, Eleinen, Rodriguez, etc. rarely seem to deliver the kinds of issues Asal brings into the equation. As far as I am concerned, he is an idiot and will remain an idiot, regardless of how well he can hit a ball.
@@1000000trs to be honest, Asal never change , he just pretend to be a nice player , nothing more
Perhaps because the vast majority of squash players don't want to watch Asal matches.
Brilliant squash but I find these courts so distracting. The logos, the reflections, the lights (and their reflections), the people behind the wall, the seats. It would be brilliant to see this squash on the plainer courts we had two years ago that werent glass and filled with logos imho.
a bit of an overreaction there 3:30
🙈
I'm don't know why some of the commentators are screaming on top of their voices...very unprofessional... needs improvement...don't spoil the game........
Too much screaming from the commentator...sounds more like a squash hooligan than an expert.
Can we make a petition for commentators to never call squash "sqaysh". Ruins so many clips and moments
clearly elias can become BETTER SQUASH PLAYER...farag CLEARLY BETTER SQUASH PLAYER. Better squash player won match
Spoilt only by J Barrington screaming like a teenage girl!
Is it just me or does it seem that Farag complains a lot these days
