Hi Ive been dealing with this prblem for the last 50 years and have not started even though I bought a cannon scanner 10 years ago. No good 100 times too slow. Im considering medium format new Pentax or the full frame Nikon very expensive. The Ebay used ones have too small pixel range so how much in USD and where can i buy your the book from?
The book is available at www.theDAMbook.com As far as a best value camera, I would suggest a used D800 or D800E. You can buy the camera in excellent condition for less than $1000, and it produces a high resolution scan suitable for nearly any use.
I Did my pictures outside with a samsung pl170 digi cam in the late evening with flash off and the cleaned them up in my windows picture app then posted on digtal universe result,,no fuss easy,does not have to be technical at all
Yes, it can be done with nearly any type of camera, and there are many hardware and software solutions that can be used. Glad you have been able to get what you need.
