The "difference" in shot characteristics could not possibly matter any less. The CS3 uses a GP core with a few minor changes and a little more volume. Base your decision on ergonomics, not how it shoots.
I was thinking the same thing I have a fully broken in cs2 speed which is a hard marker to find . It’s hard to justify the purchase of a cs3 personally I think it would be better to wait till the the cs4
When was the last time that decibel meter was calibrated? I have a CS3 and there is no way it is that loud. It is by far the most quieter gun i have used.
Finally someone made this test.... THANKS!

If only my money tree finished growing last year, would get the CS3 lol 😂
If you use a Silencio tip on the CS2 it has a noticeably different sound signature..
This goes to show there no reason to move over to a CS3 unless you need or want a new marker, the price of the CS3 is definitely not justified..

CS3 sounds smoother and quieter
Cs3 is the quieter, sounds better for sure 👍
Don't forget carbon fiber barrels are louder than aluminum
Almost identical except the CS3 is crispier with the PWR Core, CS2 more thudy
Sound the same. Shoot the same. Mostly look the same.
