As soon as 2017 hit, his beats got less ethereal, and he stopped using the deep voice he used to rap with, and his flow got more generic (even though his lyrics have improved a lot). I’m not blinded by nostalgia in this case, I just don’t enjoy his new sound. I keep coming back hoping to hear some stuff reminiscent of the 2016 Oliver, but I haven’t heard that since Gemini. Not hating at all btw, I love Oliver and his crew, I just don’t like the new music.
