Guys, do some serious reading about tactical infantry squad level movements. Also, read up on how snipers move and operate. Start with Carlos Hathcock's book, - another excellent read is Rommel's, "Infantry Attacks" that will demonstrate to you small unit operations in actual combat- a really dry (typically German) written book that is filled with excellent diagrams and descriptions of real combat situations. Also, remember to camo your sniper's face. Faces of white guys shine like neon. Burnt cork works great. In reality, after the first few kills and the squad began to counter the ambush, your sniper would have slowly moved back into the cornfield and then make his egress. But, the way your infantry squad was moving, the sniper would have gotten all of them. They also would have taken immediate cover, probably advancing through the tall corn, too. The use of smoke forward of their position would have helped them recover their wounded to a safer location. Also, suppressive fire is a good thing, but, seldom works unless you have a good idea where your enemy is. Just sending rounds downrange tips the bad guy off that you don't really have a clue where he is, conceals his fire (noise) and confuses the situation (not to mention wastes ammo). Recon on the sly (quietly), locate the likely source of the sniper fire and move on it using as much cover as possible. As for the sniper, he very likely would have relocated if he felt his position had been compromised- probably without you seeing him. He would have done this - shoot, egress, to his back up location, and repeat his success. No way would he have just jumped up and exposed himself like that. Why wear a Gilly suit off he was going to act that way? If you do not have mortars, or artillery or air support you can call in, get the Hell out of his sight- retreat, get your wounded to safety, withdraw, try again later with proper support. Anything else just gets your men killed needlessly.
every summer when it's hot and the days are Long our family goes to their place they have their own farm in the cauntary it's wonderful place for children there are trees birds and different kinds of farm animals hours cows pigs and chickens there is a green grass for football and place by the barn for basketball their farm is big it's about 150 miles 240 kilometers our of the city
