Not gona lie i am mad when i see people being shit about pronoucing stuff or even mentioning poland. So basically. Poles hate poles who are mad about poles.
not necessarily lol. i don't care too much about mike butchering it. he's an american, i'm american maybe not by birth, but by residence now. i love this country
Don't you know only Poles can shit on Poles and Poland? I'm pretty sure polish government uses some kind of algoritm to catch everytime someone writes or says "Poland" on youtube, so underpaid public administration workers can flock arround him and peck his eyes out, as a part of their daily duties.
"So basically. Poles hate poles who are mad about poles." Sure, but we have a right to do it. Anybody else dislikes a Pole, that's some solid Kurwa fuel!!! ;-)
It's called a jacket ("bluza") in the Polish military, a part of the 127/MON field uniform, nicknamed "bawełniak" (a noun describing something deriving from cotton). It's already obsolete, replaced with 123UP/MON and 123UL/MON uniforms, winter and summer variants respectively. It's an old design - based on the jackets issued to paratroopers in the 60s. Not exactly tacticool, and it is a pain in the ass to wear when soaked (feels like having weights strapped to your legs when soaked in mud - great leg and core exercize, but it sucks after a few clicks) but it will keep your warm and, especially the ones from the 90s, are very much reliable It beats the new design in those areas. Plus, it looks cool as fuck. I usually run the 123UP now, but in winter it's nice to have it underneath.
@@MikeB128 well, I guess it can be quite humbling to feel Russia's breath on your neck and have Germany to your side with Americans running around and doing FTXs on your fields. But it's nice to hear someone say something good about our DoD, since all we do here is complain. Thanks.
We worked with the Polish in Afghanistan in 2004/05. I traded a DCU field jacket for one of theirs and few of their 24hr rations. I wish I still had it, but between a few moves and leaving it at my parents, it’s long gone. The Aussies has some good swag as well. And the Australian CR1M ration is probably the best combat ration in the history of rations.
The Polish Border Guard is currently being issued a new pattern of camuflage - SG14 (Don't know if it has any nickname). It is basicly a mix of wz93 and multicam.
Polish woodland is my favorite camo pattern period, people talk a lot of shit about the desert variant but I like it, looks a lot like something the Russians would’ve worn in Afghanistan in the 1970s
Do you wear military clothes when out and about in public? I've noticed I get unwanted attention from just wearing surplus trousers from my collection.
@@MikeB128 I Imagine, good job on your hard work. its going towards something you love. if your board sometime i would like to hear your story, how you started out and made it to where you are now ))
My grandfather took a bunker on Normandy with this field jacket. When he was discharged he was given special permission to keep his by Eisenhower himself.
Have you done a video on the Australia camouflage and uniforms. One prize in my collection to fat to wear anymore loved them when i could wear them. Thumbs up stay awesome and have an excellent day.
Unfortunately due to dark overall presentation of WZ 93 in light or lighter bacgrounds it is very visible, especially due to the fact that it does not break up the silhouette very good, and appears as single color from not that far at all. MAPA is a great concept, which performs better and is more able in terms of changes and adjustments to background if they wanted to make it FG, Arid, Winter variants. Unfortunately the army went with WZ 93 again, when they could have changed it into something modern, comperable to A-TACS or Pencott. WZ 93 is a concept that has been created at the beginning of 1990s, to differ from communist time patterns. But the source material came from 1960s and 1970s (based on a project of uniforms for Libyan army), so it is more or less like Duckhunter or Tiger stripes. It is time to let it go. And there was a process in place for that with the Polish Army. Unfortunately as they compared Puma (codename for WZ 93, as option to extend its operation time), Lampart (developed in polish Future Soldier project TYTAN) and 2 MAPA patterns (MAPA-A and MAPA-B, which were developed in DROMADER project by Maskpol) they've decided to stay with WZ 93. Why? Beats me, maybe corruption... IDK
I don't know if you mentioned it in the video or not, I'm usually watching while doing something else so I don't catch everything, but what is the purpose of the button in the back of the collar. I think I see button holes as well, is it for attaching a hood?
I didn't mention it, but probably. It's just a matter of time before some 14 year old Polish kid comes on and types out a 3 page report comment on this entire jacket and its purpose all the while bitching about me talking about something Polish in such a "tone".

@@MikeB128 hey, I'l take any chance to use all the useless logistical knowledge of my irrelevant army! I didn't memorize it just to not get smoked!
Lol I wouldn't call your Army irrelevant. I'd Put them up against almost any western European army and put my money on Poland.

I prefer the older style 90s officer jackets. I forget the name but my friend's father had one. Canvas outside, lined with sheepskin on the inside.

Are you talking to me? No way punk..
Woodland by pantera? Never heard of that album but vulgar display of power by pantera was decent.
In all seriousness though i love your vids man👍
That liner in this thing is awesome! I bought one about a year ago and Im wearing it a lot with this goofy ass Pittsburgh weather

I just bought on of these from you, and I must say it is very well made and the size fits me perfect. Thanks for posting this information in regards.

Trey Fannin I think my grandpa was with yours. But he got to keep his M249 .50 cal sniper variant belt fed Gatling gun.
Please can you do a video on the Italian vegetato camo?
Yep, I will get to it eventually. I love that pattern.

Need to get me one of these solely for the name
Hey has anyone dyed this jacket black? If so how and what product did you use

That may be true, but be glad your Military didn't adopt fucking UCP while fighting two decent sized wars lol.
So is the liner removable?
Yes.
There is a built in lining, but you can get an extra button-in thermal lining.

Just an extra button. Poles usually put extra buttons on their winter wear near the collar. No hood was designed for the mon/127 coat
