    Had the Braves won that series Prime would have been MVP. He batted over .500 in that series when no other Brave's player even hit
    .300....he was a special athlete.

    The rare athlete who CRAVED the BIG STAGE. Didn’t just talk the smack, he walked the smack. Not a huge fan of the person, but damn Prime would ball out against elite competition.

    Deion Sanders is the greatest athlete ever. He was a shutdown corner is the NFL and was unstoppable in the biggest game in major league baseball with an injured foot. Hell, he batted over. 300 in the world series. That's unbelievable.

    Great at football, baseball and basketball. This man was born to be an athlete. Everything he did looked natural and easy as if he didn't need a lot of practice or warming up. He just walks out onto the field and plays ball.

    I just watched the Shannon Sharpe Podcast w/Deion Sanders as his guest. I orgot how good of a hitter Deion made himself. On the podcast, he spoke about if he would have had more time w/baseball and how much of a challenge baseball is over football. He's a GENERATIONAL TALENT .

    As a lifelong baseball fan, I will say this... the game was different back then. No steroids and some of the players in both teams have bad mechanics. Not saying deion isn't good. I'm simply saying the game is different now. Most of the hits deion got that year were inside pitches. We have pitchers that can switch it up better and throw harder.

    Deion's stats for the '92 World Series 8for15, 2 2B, 4R, 1 RBI, 2 BB, 5 SB and a 533 avg. in 4 games, with a broken foot!!!

      He would practice for the Falcons at the team facility at Flowery Branch, GA during the day, then take a helicopter downtown to the old Fulton Co. Stadium to suit up and play for the Braves THE SAME NIGHT!!!! Something we will never see again....

Deon sanders had a short below average baseball career that was hampered by injuries and the NFL. He played as long as he did because he was famous and he played on a very good team.
